This is my amazing friend Julia, from We were lucky enough to meet each other during the Fleurs De Ville Femmes show at the Royal Botanic Gardens…our floral mannequins were side by side. We have since done a Corsage making course together, and today we attended the .and.co “Be MPowered” Conference together, for Mums in Business. Thank you for inviting me Julia! I took away so much and met lots of new friends, and thank you for organising such a wonderful conference for other women like us .and.co (and for the amazing goodie bag!!) 💗

It was such an honour to be asked by Michelle to do her wedding flowers, and she was an absolute dream client to work with. So friendly and relaxed, and her husband Maurice was an absolute super star as well. A beautiful couple, sharing a very special moment in front of her custom built arch, at the most gorgeous beachside location.

Teaching my girls all about sustainable floristry this school holidays. They love flower play as much as I do. We used chicken wire & some fine gold wire instead of cable ties. No floral foam, as it doesn’t break down and goes into landfill. As this is just for fun at home, we haven’t used any water sources for this project. So much fun 💗 We used foraged Chinese Wisteria, Yellow Gem Grevillea, and also added some Orange Jasmine from our tree at the front to give it a bit more volume.

Believe it or not, my kids made this!! Pretty impressive for an 8 & 6 year old 💗 I had to help a little tiny bit with placement, but the design is all theirs. I think we might have a couple of little floral artists in the making!

School holiday flower play with my girls! I have the week off to hang with Annie & Florence, & the weather isn’t the best so we are being creative together & sharing our love for nature.

Using a sustainable technique for the mechanics, we are opting for chicken wire, which I can reuse. Instead of plastic cable ties, we are using a fine gold wire to fasten the chicken wire onto the arbour.

For our botanical material, we are using some beautiful Chinese Wisteria, and some gorgeous Honey Gem Grevillea, which we have foraged from our driveway.

Fresh blooms on top of a gorgeous cake, looks so beautiful..especially if they’re local! This magnificent watermelon Dahlia came from the amazing Militello brothers and the David Austin Evelyn rose from . Such a gorgeous colour palette, mixed with lilac coloured lisianthus and statice, and some pink gypsophila.

Flashback to my first ever wedding…I was so nervous making this bouquet! Zoe fell in love with the beautiful David Austin Evelyn roses I had posted on my Instagram, from and she also wanted babies breath in pink and white. This was a dream wedding to work on…such a beautiful couple, who now have a gorgeous baby girl!
