Old Macdonald's Travelling Farms - SA North Visiting the Northern part of SA with our beautiful babies! we are Chris & Kirsty, owners of Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farms SA – North Franchise.

Needing a change in lifestyle, we moved on to acreage in the Adelaide Hills 18 months ago and purchased an Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farms Franchise. We love working for ourselves as it gives us time to spend with our 4 children,who love to help out on the farm. Each of our animals has its own name, and are all cared for as one of our own pets. We love sharing and showing them to everyone. Whilst

travelling around the Northern area of South Australia, we have appreciated the welcome that everyone has given us in the many towns we have visited, (some for the first time). Nowhere is ‘too’ far for us to visit

I always get asked what happens to the animals when we get home....

Do they get to "be animals?"
Are they out in paddocks?
Do they get time off?

The answer to all is YES!!

They all have the chance to eat, run, sleep in the sun - they are not caged up/restricted - unless for safety.

🦆🐓 Ducks & Chooks are locked up at night because of foxes.

🍼🍼 Bottle fed babies are kept in the barn at night to keep them warm & again 🙄- foxes.

🐰🐰 Rabbits are kept in their family groups & protected from mozzies, flies & you guessed it... 🦊

Animal welfare is my #1 priority - these guys are my babies🥰

The naughtiest of the bunch! This little goat is full of sass and has been keeping us on our toes. Whether she's sneakily escaping her pen or playfully munching on things she shouldn't… there's never a dull moment when Chai's around!

Our fluffiest little explorer – he’s curious and never says no to a snack! You’ll usually find him munching away or checking out what the other animals are up to.

He’s gentle, easily lead astray, and always up for pats (and possibly even your lunch!)
