We would like to update you on significant developments in regards to the Inland Rail project.

Last week the Government released to the public the Inland Rail Review Report, announcing it has accepted all of its recommendations, as reported recently in Australian media. These recommendations are likely to reduce the impacts of the completed rail project on Ivory's Rock.

While it is encouraging news for Ivory’s Rock, we will continue to monitor developments and to advocate for our interests, and for those of the local community and the protection of the fauna and flora of this beautiful environment.

Job opportunity - Immediate Start - our amazing long term Grounds Manager Dick is retiring!

Are you Ivory’s Rock new Grounds Co-Ordinator extraordinaire!
We are looking for a hands on person who can do the following!

o Mowing
o Brush cutting
o Gardens (weeding and planting)
o Tree care
o Equipment maintenance and servicing
• Develop the mowing team and review mowing frequencies,
look for efficiencies with a planned approach to ensure that
the property is always ‘event’ ready.
• W**d Control - implement an environmentally sustainable
plan
• Assist with Fire Management across the property in
conjunction with the Facilities Manager
• Maintain roads and tracks on the property
• Ensure regular maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Understanding legislation around Workplace Health and
Safety and how you build this in your team culture
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested

Do you have the following skills/aptitudes.....
• Experience in maintaining grounds and gardens.
• Physical fitness and ability to complete required tasks.
• Relevant experience in safe operation of small power
equipment and plant such as tractors and ride-on mowers.
• Ability to undertake regular maintenance of all Grounds
equipment accurately and proactively.
• Experience in the use of technology in support of managing
operational activities undertaken in the Annual Maintenance
Plan e.g., Google Suite.
• A high level of communication and interpersonal skills with a
wide range of stakeholders.
• A current drivers’ license. An ‘HR’ drivers licence classification
would be an advantage.
• Planning, scheduling, and coordination of materials, supplies
and resources to meet required timelines.
