During our shows and demos: should one of my ponies leave my side , trot away from me just to eat grass or worse, - not even wanting to engage in the session, I need to give my pony his space ! This is not letting my pony get away with things, but respecting my ponies subtle signs of telling me, they are not comfortable in the situation I have put them in.
