We are incredibly proud to share that the 2023 SunSmart Busselton Festival of Triathlon won Community Sporting Event of the Year at last night’s WA Sport Awards, hosted by SportWest.

Congratulations to the team at Triathlon Western Australia, this is one of our favourite events to deliver each year and we can’t wait for this year’s event in 9 weeks’ time.

We’d especially like to thank our dedicated team of staff for all their hard work which made it all possible, as well as the extended network of suppliers, stakeholders, sponsors, volunteers, technical officials and everyone else who contributed to make it a success.

Our Community Sporting Event of the year goes to ... the Sunsmart Busselton Festival of Triathlon! Congratulations to all those involved in the planning and delivery of such an incredible event.

ANNOUNCEMENT! EventMatrix are proud to be announced as the new owners of Cape to Cape MTB. We're excited to enter this new era and continue this great event's history and traditions in the South West.

How good was it to be back in Western Australia for four whole days of fun trails, cold beers, and good mates!

Now that the racing is done, we’d like to let you know that an exciting new era will begin for Cape to Cape under the new ownership of Megan and Bill of EventMatrix from 3 November 2023.

EventMatrix are a WA based company and bring a wealth of experience and passion that will see the Good Times Rolling in WA for many years to come.

Megan and Bill will take over from 3 November 2023.

We are thrilled to be partnering in the upcoming Cool Water Classic event.

The event is a 20km open water point-to-point swim following the beaches of Geographe Bay. Commencing in Dunsborough, swimmers will follow the course towards Busselton, finishing the race at the iconic Busselton Jetty!

This is the first year (we hope of many) that the event is taking place and we would love for you to be a part of it!

There will be beach parties along the way for teams to hydrate and refuel, swap swimmers and to soak in the cheers from friends and family supporting you from the sandy shores.

Meet the Directors!

Bill & Megan founded EventMatrix in 2020 after working in Event Management for many years. Since then they have worked on over 15 mass participation events for clients such as WestCycle, Triathlon WA, iDrive, Eastern Goldfields Cycling Club and most recently, the Activ Foundation.

GOLDFIELDS CYCLASSIC 2023 🚴🏁

91 riders took part in the two day 236km road race, with cyclists racing from Kalgoorlie-Boulder to Menzies and then onto Leonora.

For the second year in a row EventMatrix delivered everything from the operations and course set up to the registrations, sponsorship and marketing! Thanks to Eastern Goldfields Cycle Club (EGCC) for another fantastic year.
