And just like that....another year is coming to an end ❤️ Can you believe everything we have been through together this year!
The uncertainty of the new year was still looming over the events industry & we started the year with much smaller classes.
Our mum community told me they still needed this space to do something for themselves & I am so glad I never gave up.
Numbers picked up throughout the year & I am very grateful for all the beautiful & inspiring mums & bubs I have met!
Sometimes we get caught up in the moment or worry too much about the future that we forget to stop & appreciate how far we have come over the last 365 days including what we are grateful for.

I'm still buzzing from yesterday! 🥰
What an epic day we had running our mums and bubs painting workshop in conjunction with the Balga Salvo Early Years Services.
I held a guided painted workshop boho picnic style, under a beautiful tree in their courtyard, sipping on some non alcoholic bubbles and grazing on some yummy goodies!
The mums did such an incredible job with their paintings and shoud be so proud of doing something for you!!
It was great to bring the Connecting Mums Perth community to a new part of Perth and so wonderful to work with such a special organization doing very important things for their local community.
Thank you so much for having me and I am so excited to join you again in the new year once my bub has arrived 😀

👋 We met with lots of amazing mums and their bubs at our fave venue in Bassendean Blank Canvas Quarter ❤️❤️
🤩 Today these mummas learnt a few techniques on how to use polymer clay!
📍We made 4 pairs of stud earrings and I was so impressed with all the designs everyone created!

🤗 After losing my identity a little (or should I say a lot!) after my first was born, I struggled to find myself and to find a place where I could do something for me...but have my bub with me. I have a passion in events and art....and when I combined my passions Connecting Mums Perth was born!
❤️ I love creating a place for mums to create space for themselves and not feel the stresses of having to leave their baby.
🙋♀️ So I thought we could get to know each other!

🙈 I turned 40 this year!
💒 I got married a week after I turned 22 and have been married for 18 years!
🌃 I recently lived in Melbourne for 10 years and had my boy over there.

🌴 A place I have always wanted to travel...Hawaii

Here at Connecting Mums Perth there are a few things that make us unique.
✅️ The purpose of our workshops is to help you reconnect with yourself after having a bub. My own experiences becoming a new mum really hit home for this one. I experienced a void in my identity and craved for something to do that was actually for myself rather than my bub, which is the reason why I created Connecting Mums ❤️
✅️ Remember that feeling you get when you create something? A sense of achievement, you feel proud? It is so important to get some of those good vibe feels by filling your cup. Our mums feel super proud of what they create in our workshops 🥰
✅️ Connecting with other mums is so much more fun when you are doing an activity for yourself!! We have had lots of mum connect and become friends from attending our workshops! 👯♀️
✅️ The best part is that you can bring your baby along. No pressure to leave your bub with a sitter or family. You can be an incredible influence and show your bub how important it is to still be you and do something for yourself 🙌 Plus it's super cute seeing bub taking it all in and watching you creating something 😍

Let's talk about yesterday!
We had an awesome morning with some beautiful mums south of the river.
These mums gave themselves 2 hours to do an activity for themselves and they could bring their bub along! We had a mumma come child free to take a little time for herself.
From start to finish these mummas created their own little masterpieces to take home.
You all should be so proud of what you made and the fact you did something for you! 👏👏👏👏

Today I realised it's been 9 months since our very first Connecting Mums Perth event!
Very fitting if you ask me as we are all about babies! Haha!
As long as it takes to grow a baby, I have been growing my business baby over the past 9 months!
We have had so many events this year and we are so excited to announce more events for 2022 in the coming weeks!!!

This year has been incredible...
