💖 A major pinch me moment in my career so far -
I was so humbled when Chrianna and Kyle reached out and asked me to write their ceremony for their elopement in Japan.

They wanted a deeply personal ceremony to let them truly bask in and reflect on their journey together.

Opening their post-wedding email felt surreal:
"Hi Larissa,
It's the day after the wedding. We had the most perfect day yesterday, and we can't wipe the smiles from our faces.
We wanted to express how much we appreciated your expertise in helping write each other's vows and also for crafting such an amazing ceremony script. We laughed and cried happy tears - it captured us and our story perfectly. We might have been alone and 7600km away but we very much felt your presence with us 💛"

One of my favourites to date - the wedding of Heidi and Riki.

They have an adorable story, starting with a whirlwind romance at age 12 that lasted exactly 5 weeks and 6 days (not that anyone was counting 😉).
Then they grew, realised they never actually stopped loving each other, and have been together ever since 🥹💓

I loved this day, getting to stay on as their MC, surrounded by their incredible family and friends.
I also must've done something right that day too - because I walked away with 3 bookings from people they knew 🥹🥹🥹

Not only were Heidi and Riki a fab couple to work with - but they've also now become my friends 🫶
(thanks to all of our great personalities - and a shared, dedicated, passionate love of Taylor Swift)

Jenna and Scott sharing their first look on the porch of their gorgeous home (hows that view!!)
These two shared the most amazing day on their family farm with their favourite people.

This was the wedding I had to call in sick to 🥲 where the incredible stepped in to save the day.
(Jenna and Scott were absolute troopers and so kind - and had the best experience with Krissy too 💗)

I’ll be real with you and get deep for a sec...
I was so terrified to start a business.
I was scared to leave my full-time job even though I hated it, and knew in my gut that it wasn’t where I was meant to be.

My inner critic told me that no one would choose me.

Unfortunately, at the time, other voices around me echoed similar sentiments.

“You’re too young”, “Who would want a baby marrying them?”, "You're crazy to leave a stable job".
🙄

LUCKILY
My inner network - my husband, my family, and my best friends encouraged the s**t out of me, supported me in my moments of doubt and backed me 150%.
Because of them, I am here.
They knew my dreams were within reach if I just believed in myself and took the leap.
With their love and support (especially Michael's), I was able to.

Along the way, I have been so bloody lucky to meet so many amazing people who constantly uplift and support me.

My CEO gals, the most brilliant, passionate women, who I lean on every day.
Laura, my biz coach, who gave me priceless knowledge and encouraged me to chase bigger dreams.
And the vendor pals I’ve met along the way who are always up for a chat, words of wisdom, or a rant (imposter syndrome sucks, and small biz is scary!)

To my couples -
to those I have had the privilege of marrying, and those yet to come -
Thank you.

By choosing me, you have boosted my confidence, supported my dreams and helped me to live a happier life. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you.

It’s been a wild, joyful, emotional, stressful, unpredictable time.

Mr and Mrs Levia - Part 2 - Sharing their vows in New Zealand

After scrapping their plans for a big wedding, Jody and Nick held a small elopement ceremony here in Aus, then flew to New Zealand, jumped in a helicopter and headed up a mountain to share their personal vows.

They were fully true to themselves in their wedding planning experience and ended up having the most incredible celebrations- in a way that felt intimate, special and meaningful to them.

While I didn't get to join them in NZ (🥲) I helped them to write their personal vows and I feel like these photos transported me to that moment with them.

Mr and Mrs Levia - Part 1- Perth ceremony
Jody and Nick decided to throw in the idea of the big wedding and instead, decided to celebrate in a way that was truly authentic to them.

"We couldn’t have found a kinder, more beautiful soul to be our celebrant. She was the one and only celebrant we contacted as something about her seemed like the right fit and the universe answered! no question was every too silly for Larissa and she was so patient with my last-minute vow writing 🫠

I remember the instant relief I felt when I saw her waiting outside the venue right before the ceremony - everything had been chaos and panic-inducing until then but she got my mum and I relaxed and excited for the big moment. Larissa created such a warm, touching ceremony that was lighthearted enough but so sentimental and meaningful for us. She had everyone in tears! It was everything we wanted and more. Thank you so much again Larissa for making our special day come true 🤍"
