Got empty blister packs from your medications? Don’t toss them in the bin! You can now drop them off for recycling at either Chemist Warehouse or Blooms The Chemist. 💊🏥

Blister packs are made of different materials, including plastic and aluminium. This is why they cannot be put into our yellow bins for kerbside recycling - they can only be recycled using specialised technology. ♻️🔄

By bringing them to these participating pharmacies, you’re helping to reduce landfill and support a more sustainable future. 🌍🌱 So next time you refill your prescription, bring your used blister packs along too! 😊👍

Food and Friends final workshop on Waterwise Homes and Gardens. What a great group of people! Over 20 locals cooked up some fab BBQ recipes that we shared for lunch. Thanks to Fly for organising a card signed by the group, and some lovely individual thank you gifts! Wow! Thanks City of Armadale and Armadale Community Family Centre for making this happen. (using budget friendly recipes for one or two 😃) with lovely Seniors from City of Kwinana on Thursday and Secret Harbour for the City of Rockingham – Local Government on Friday.

Food and Friends workshop 3! Vigorous Vegetables. City of Armadale Armadale Community Family Centre. Nearly 30 people joined us for hands on learning - how to make a good soil mix, easy composting, how to plant seeds and transplant seedlings. Everyone went home with 8 plants to grow at home. Next week- Cookong for Climate

Pinjarra Garden Day ! All set up and ready to cook up a storm at this fabulous garden festival. Great job! Friends of Edenvale and Shire of Murray for this free family event. On until 3pm today
