Wishing all of you engaged and just married lovers a very merry festive season ✨ We can’t thank you enough for your love this year and we look forward to planning your ceremony with you and working some magic together for your upcoming wedding day if you’re a couple getting married in 2025!

While a few days down time with family was absolutely wonderful, weddings start again for us tomorrow! 🤍✨

I (Nikki) will be taking 2 weeks off this time next year though, so if you’re thinking of locking me in, and you’d like a December wedding, get in quick to lock me in pre 20th December 2025 😉 and we will get you married before my first summer break in 7 years!

It is proposal season now, so don’t forget new Perth and east coast brides will be looking to marry down south and in Perth too and if history repeats, mid January they will all start wedding planning!

6️⃣ Years ago today

I was officially advised that I had been approved as a registered marriage celebrant 🎈

Time flies when you love what you do ♥️

6 years of marrying lovers

6 years of business learning & building

6 years away from teaching early childhood students

6 years of ‘working’ with adults in a beautiful industry

6 years of happiness, so much joy, long summer days, many laughs, lots of sweat and all the tears 🥲 happy ones and 😭 exhausted ones

And I wouldn’t change one thing!!

I’ve learnt so much about business, weddings, public speaking, creative writing, confidence, boundaries, organisation, connections, relationships, networking, life and myself since beginning this amazing celebrant life, and I look forward to many more years doing what I love and bringing smiles and joy to engaged lovers and their wedding guests on their wedding days ✨

Thank you to every couple who’ve been a part of this amazing journey with me ♥️ Without you, there would be no me. Well not in this space anyway 😝💋

TEENAGE DREAM ✨

Who would have known the day Jason spotted this cutie in the canteen line at school and convinced her to part with $1 out of the $5 she had in her backpack, that all these years later, they’ve be saying “I Do” on the same date as her parents and grandparents were also married years before ✨

It was a classic teenage moment when Jason, decked out in his school polo and track pants that all the cool kids wore, approached Tamika and thought he’d try his luck at seeing if she could spare some cash so he could grab some lunch. Tamika, with a cheeky glint in her eye, rummaged in her backpack and, with a playful smile, handed him one. single. dollar from her $5 stash. Impressed with her generous offer, he returned the favour with a grateful hug, resulting in swirling butterflies and fluttering eyelashes, and little did they know, this playful gesture would spark a connection that would last a lifetime ❤️‍🔥

for the sleeves on Bonnie’s jaw dropping bridal gown 💫

But also …… the way these two look at one another 🫠🫠🫠

An intriguing glance at one another after a game of mixed netball one night back in May 2017 when Bonnie was called in last minute to fill in for someone on her friend Courtney’s team was the beginning of Hayden and Bonnie’s love story and the night that Hayden, being Courtney’s brother realised that agreeing to playing mixed netball definitely came with some life changing connections and benefits ✨

There wasn’t many dry eyes when these two married earlier this year and it was an honour to be a part of their stunning Perth wedding 🏙️
