A beautiful baby boy on the way…
As I set this baby shower up with my 16 year old daughter and we were working side by side, I suddenly thought of how much time has passed since I was pregnant with her and how excited I was to meet her. We didn’t know if we were having a boy or girl but it really didn’t matter. As long as he/she was healthy that was all that mattered. We were lucky. Now she’s working with me, driving me (!) and has become my friend too. I still ‘parent’ her, but we have got to that lovely stage where she’s become a young woman and we talk. Each stage is special and I’ve cherished them all. Even the sleepless nights and tip toeing backwards out of the room to miss the creaky floorboards to the cranky, disorganised teenager, I’ve got a boyfriend stage! It’s all beautiful when you look back and I look forward to the next chapter. Wishing this gorgeous new family all the joy for each and every chapter to come. 💙💙💙

The silver shimmer walls from are probably my fave (if you know me and sparkly things!) so paired with these gorgeous hues of lilac and mauve, it was the perfect combination. Tijan .wedding.stylist made the beautiful florals and centrepieces to help tie the room together. Not forgetting the pristine white light up numbers from ! This sweet sixteen party certainly marked the occasion for this lucky teen! 💜💜💜

I was a bit nervous about this event to be honest! After returning from Sweden from our big family Christmas holiday, I came back in slightly different health than when I’d left! Usually it’s from too much wine and food but this time it was actually pretty serious! I broke my tibia in multiple places and my fibula on a frozen lake (Christmas Eve), had surgery Christmas night and am now using crutches and a wheelchair to get around! Not to mention climbing up and downstairs on my butt! So to put this event together 4 days after arriving home, I was a bit nervous about if I could manage. Luckily, I have an awesome team/family who worked so hard and pulled it all together, whilst I rolled around in my wheelchair directing! This was a special event for a special family and I did not want to pass this on, so it HAD to work! I am so happy we could do this for ! Thank you to my brilliant, patient and hard working team .moala and .petrovsky. You guys rock! Thank you to Tijuan .wedding.stylist for your help and muscles on the day too - not to mention beautiful florals! A massive thank you to my beautiful husband too. He has done everything for weeks and has been such an amazing carer. ❤️❤️
