Marquee Weddings in Perth – What You Really Need to Know
Dreaming of a marquee wedding under the stars? We get it. There’s something magical about building your own venue from the ground up — it’s a blank canvas moment. But before you lock it in, let’s talk pros + cons, from someone who’s seen it all (hi, it’s us 🖤).
THE PROS:
✔️ Total freedom – design it your way
✔️ Choose your dream location – beachside, countryside, private property
✔️ Intimate, luxe, and super aesthetic
✔️ Great for those who want to bring in their own vendors & styling
THE CONS (aka the “need-to-knows”):
❌ Weather is the boss – rain, wind, and heat need a plan
❌ You’ll need to bring in everything (power, lighting, toilets, etc.)
❌ Can be more work logistically (but worth it with the right team!)
☀️ HEAT TIP FOR CLEAR MARQUEES:
If you’re having a clear marquee during late spring or summer in Perth — please, please cover it during the day.
Why?
• It gets brutally hot inside (think greenhouse vibes)
• Your vendors are sweating bullets during setup
• And your beautiful fresh florals? They’ll start wilting before guests even arrive 💐💔
