Today marks 13 wonderful years since my own wedding day and it has me feeling all the feels.

Sometimes marriage can be hard but Loving this guy every single day is the easiest thing I've ever done.

From Mum catching us kissing on the kitchen floor 17 years ago to now sharing the most beautiful life and family together, our love story is and will always be my favourite one to share ❤️

6 years.

Today marks 6 years since that exciting email that come through confirming that I was finally a Registered Celebrant. I still remember the little squeal that popped out of me.

6 years of storytelling
6 years of laughter
6 years of unforgettable memories and even more unforgettable personalities

I'm so grateful for all of the moments I have shared with so many of you.
Not only have I been part of your wedding days but you are all part of my heart and I carry a little piece of you with me always, some of you become fond memories, some even become friends.... your love stories, your adventures, the growth of your families, and sometimes being there to help you say goodbye too, each moment has been a privilege.

🌑 Winter Solstice Wedding 🌑

When Cass and Aaron told me they wanted to fulfil all of their Emo & Punk dreams by getting married in their home on Winter Soltice I knew it was going to be amazing.

Throughout the process of getting to know them and their sweet daughter I just knew we were the perfect fit, so you can imagine how gutted I was to wake up on the morning of their wedding sicker than I'd been in years 😥

It's a phone call none of us want to make but knowing I had the back up and support of a wonderful friend and Celebrant Extraordinaire made that call so much easier.

She stepped into my shoes effortlessly and delivered when I couldn't and made sure Cass and Aaron had the beautiful ceremony they deserved.

I'll be forever grateful for you Candy B and for Cass and Aaron who took the change in their stride and Celebrated the hell out of their love story in the most epic way 🖤🖤🖤

After what has been an incredible off season with lots of work behind the scenes but also lots of time with my beautiful family trying hard to have some much needed downtime it seems as though I blinked and it's September!

"12 months ago today, a small, intimate group of us gathered in a space that was so special for so many reasons.  We gathered in the centre of the home that Courtney’s parents once built together, a place that held precious memories of happy times and love, a place everywhere you turned you could see and feel warmth and compassion, and in that space, surrounded by people who mean so much to them Courtney and Katie promised to love each other for the rest of their lives."

And then just a couple of days ago, we gathered to Celebrate the absolute heck out of these two beautiful women. It was everything you could ever hope for and part of a journey I will never forget.
