we are a busy outside catering company doing 4 to 8 function's every weekend, based in Wangara.
We require cooks/chefs and helpers to operate our functions on mainly Saturday afternoon/evening. So please do not apply if you are NOT available most Saturdays between October and January
You require a manual drivers licence and a positive "can do" attitude!
Would suit Monday to Friday cooks who want a $$ top up.
We welcome semi retired catering operators, and couples as some jobs require 2 people.
We pay chef/cook $300 per event and $220 for helpers, most events take approx. 6 to 7 hours, plus travel money depending on location of function.

Golden Roast Perth are looking to expand their team before an extremely busy few months ahead. We are a mobile catering business. We do weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, you name it we do it! It’s a great way to meet people and get out there and have a bit of fun! No experience required!!

If you are successful with your application you will start your role as a helper. As a helper you will get paid $220 per shift. However once you become an approved cook you will be paid $280 per shift. This means on average you will be paid $40 per hour which is well above the award wage. This is because we expect high quality deliverables from our staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn some great money, meet new people and there are also several upcoming roles/opportunities within the business that may interest some of you, this will be talked about at our training night.

The training night will be held on Tuesday the 19th of July. There will be dinner and drinks provided to all those who attend. Through this night you will learn everything there is to know about our business. We will go through every process of our business making it super easy for you to join our team. We are looking for cooks that are available to work mainly on the weekends however if you are also able to do week days that works great too. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. We will train you through every step. A drivers licence is a must and a being able to drive manual will work in your favour. Every shift is somewhere new, you can meet some great people along the way and most shifts you will be finished by 10pm. You will learn how to create jaw dropping grazing tables and learn how to cook like a golden roast professional, as that after all is the end goal.
