1 month earth side with our beautiful daughter Eden 🌼🌻💐

I’ve been quite on here! It’s been a while since I posted and I never said goodbye 👋
The last 2 months of my pregnancy was just as messy as the rest of it and getting 4 years of inventory, furniture and a whole massive part of our life out of our buildings was a very stressful, emotional and painful time for the both of us.

We made it through though and glad it didn’t bring on early labour! With my son arriving at 35 weeks I worried everyday it could happen but we (by we, mainly Ty in the end with the help of some family members and some good hearted people that worked in our complex) we got it done 2 weeks before her arrival at 39 weeks!

We are now 1 month in as a family of 4 and we made THE BEST decision to close. Our beautiful girl is a fomo baby and Velcro baby and constantly feeds around the clock. Sleep in non existent and being glued to the chest is the only place she loves 😅 all of this is a recipe to my business failing if we tried to continue to operate.

I’m sure this will all be short lived and one day I’ll get around to my goodbye post 🥰

Orders for Hamper In A Hurry are officially closed!
We don’t close up until next Saturday the 11th of May but we have reached capacity for orders this weekend and next Saturday.

If you try to place an order online and see this at checkout unfortunately it means exactly that - no slots are available.

What a journey and what a crazy ride the past 5 years have been! I’ll probably dive into this a little more next week but for now thank you to each and every one of you that have supported my business!

It’s been over a couple of weeks since Easter! Who still has a worrying amount of chocolate eggs in their household? 🙈

We have 7 days of trade left, one of them being the day before Mother’s Day.
Our Mother’s Day collection will be available online soon and I’ll also be releasing a certain amount of boxes discounted to help clear stock before closing.

These discounted boxes are from our dessert range and will be available for collection only. They also won’t be on the website, they can only be ordered via DM and paid via bank transfer.

I was absolutely spoilt over the weekend by Ty, my Mum & Sister as they threw me a baby shower and we did our gender reveal!
Not ready to post what we are having just yet as I still haven’t on my personal pages but in true golf fan style we had our little man hit a golf ball that exploded into colour 🩵🩷

I’m heading into 3rd trimester next week, on the home stretch and we have 9 days left of trade (all weekend dates until the 11th of May) and then we officially close up Hamper In A Hurry!

Lady down again 😖 sorry guys! I have had to close up the rest of the week.. I’ll be reopening next Tuesday the 19th of March.
The amazing Ty is saving the days again and will be fulfilling all orders we already do have so they won’t need to be canceled.

I am starting to worry that I’m not even going to make it to the 11th of May and might need to close up earlier.. I really wanted to send off on the Mother’s Day weekend but I’m just not getting any better and things are getting harder with my body growing. I will keep you all posted though!

In all honestly I am so heartbroken and fed up with my situation. I am extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to be pregnant, growing a new beautiful life but it’s just not fair that this is how it’s just meant to go 😓 it’s not fair that every pregnancy is different, it’s not fair that some women will breeze through like it’s nothing and then others are on their death bed. It’s not fair the spectrum is so large for each individual woman’s symptoms that a large portion of society will just never understand what some will go through.

I’m not lazy, I’m a worker, a go getter and ticking off 100 jobs off my todo list in a day is completely normal for me.
I love being a very interactive mum, I love having a sparkling clean home and I love doing all the things I used to do to look after me and my relationships.
Having this all stripped from me is mentally destroying me and I wish this was spoken about more as I’ve heard stories from other women and I know I’m not alone.

I pray for the day I wake up and im not sick, not trying to peel myself off the floor, vomiting, crying in so much pain that I worrying if I should go to ER to check on my baby. Each day is a new day and I never know what’s thrown at me and sadly I experience all the above more than I don’t.

I don’t like I have to be so honest and transparent here when it should be all professional but I hope anyone that is getting a little frustrated with the flexibility my business no longer has can see why.. 😓 ps I’m behind in emails! I’ll hopefully be on top of it all by the end of the week.

9 days since I posted last 😬 has it really been that long! Time has finally moved from feeling like years to the weeks just skimming by with my pregnancy!

We are closed this Thursday the 29th of February due to a few appointments I have on.
We’ve also closed off Saturday the 9th of March and Sunday the 7th of April.

I am trying to continue to stay open 7 days a week for more convenience for our customers but soon I will be closing off Sundays permanently as it’s slowly becoming our only day to spend together as a family.
I will keep you updated!!

For now though I would like to announce the date we are closing up as I’ll be going on Maternity leave and that is Saturday the 11th of May (day before Mother’s Day).
This is a heads up for anyone that has any outstanding gift vouchers to get them used as I do not have a returning date.
We will be sending out emails to as many gift voucher holders as possible over the next few weeks but a few years ago we used a different database and some of you we haven’t had success in contacting.

We are 1 WEEK OUT from VALENTINE’S DAY ♥️
If it’s something you love to celebrate, 14th of February is the date you need to remember 😉

We will be delivering between 12-3pm on Valentine’s Day so if you would like your order earlier please place your order the day prior and store your platter in the fridge overnight.

Keep in mind if your loved one is at work to have it delivered to their work place if they work during the hours of 12-3pm 🥰 yes we get lots of orders delivered to home addresses when no one is home for hours. We would hate for your box to spoil, get attacked by ants or taken 👀

Please remember if you order a box the day prior and it contains Krispy Kreme’s they are obviously purchased that day so they will have that 1 day old taste on Valentine’s Day. Some people are fine with it, some dislike it (me) 😂 so keep that in mind.

5 years in biz! 🥳🎉

It’s been 5 years since it all started!
1st of February 2019 I launched my grazing table business.
I then went on to create services such as balloon garlands, low table picnic creations, gift box and hamper delivery service and then open my own private venue!

I started as a single mum with $0 to my name and access to a friends afterpay account. Took a gamble with placing an order from Kmart and house to purchase items I would need to help create my first booking and prayed it would pay off.

Well it did! I dedicated long nights while my son was sleeping, working and crafting everything I needed to do to make this work. Spent our days together shopping, preparing and sourcing all things that needed to be done to bring my clients requests to life.
I knew very little about running a business, didn’t have internet to do research as I couldn’t afford it but I knew how to please customers and bring visions to life.

Fast forward to what I’ve experienced over the past 5 years, I’ve learnt the true meaning of sacrifice, learnt the most respect for small businesses across all industries and that running a business is 1000 times harder than anything you’ll ever do, even parenting!

I’m grateful for 1000s of people I have met and had the opportunity to cater for and have so many of you welcome me into your homes, work places and trust me on one of the biggest days in your life (your wedding)

I’m grateful to see with my own eyes you can really truly turn your life around, be able to provide the life I always dreamt for my son and own things that I thought would only happen if I won the lotto.

It’s bittersweet that I’m slowly moving onto my next chapter in my life but I feel closure I pursued more than not only I ever thought I would, but what most people in my life would of ever thought.

Remember we are all dealt a hand of cards in life, it goes by the way you play them 😘🫶

I am expecting baby number TWO! 🧸

It’s been a rollercoaster for the last few months and it’s been extremely difficult keeping everyone that loves to support my business in the dark of why there has been constant changes, closures and no proper explanation to what is going on.
It’s been a constant stress worrying about my professionalism and I hope now everything has just MADE SENSE!

I suffer from Hyperemesis gravidarum and for anyone that has heard of it you can understand straight away where I have been. With my son I was lucky to only struggle the first half of my pregnancy and it looks like I am in the same direction for this one too 🤞

For now life is literally lived day to day. We are currently closed until the 1st of February while I recover from what I went to hospital for during the week and once back open we will have all new opening hours as it is just me operating the business on my own now.

I know the first question for many will be maternity date closures. That will be all answered soon!

Happy long weekend! Congrats to the ones that have all 3 days off 🙌
If you have tried to place an order the past couple of days you’ll notice on our website we are closed until the 1st of February.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused as it was very last minute. I am quite unwell and have been placed on bed rest.

For when these situations occur usually Ty takes over but one of the transitions we are in this year is closing up our gym.
Ty has recently started his new role in his new chapter and because of this I am now back to a one man show and hours of Hamper In A Hurry will be changing soon.

Will be announcing over the next couple of weeks all our new changes coming! ☺️

If you’ve been following since the Grazed With Love days you’ll know I was very excited to change over to compostable stickers with all my branding as I wanted to get all my products to either be Recyclable, reusable or compostable! This week we are finally moving another step forward in that direction. If you’ve purchased from us before you’ll notice our pretty shiny bright pink stickers will be more of a simple blush pink sticker now. It has more of a paper texture but looks don’t matter when there’s a purpose!! These new stickers created by @heapsgoodpackaging are much friendlier to the planet and I can’t wait to start changing over all of our labels. 🙌 We still have our mini labels that go on our cracker sleeves plus our food safety stickers in place but they will be faded out shortly too 🥰 Soon we will be offering cardboard lids without the plastic window for customers that would like to choose that option and please don’t ever throw out your ribbons! We use beautiful quality ribbons and you can reuse them on future gifting at Christmas time or on birthdays 🎁

MOTHER’S DAY GIVEAWAY 💕 Starting now and finishes this Thursday at 6pm.
