Songket is a weaved fabric that originate in the Malay Archipelago with its own distinct design and motif for each region. It's traditionally hand woven in silk or cotton and intricately patterned with gold or silver thread which create a shimmering effect, lending it its regal and opulent status. Songket are worn by royalty and aristocrat for special occasions and festivals. It has also become a popular wedding garment for bride and groom.

Noordiana & Austin, after much deliberation and consultation with Lemari]]
have opted for a traditional motif Malaysian Songket in a rich maroon hue with gold thread for the first part of their wedding, the Nikah ceremony. The bride also opted for a traditional custom made Kurung with intricate lace and hand beaded embellishments. The groom wore made to measure Baju Pahlawan complete with traditional accessories. Needless to say, the couple look absolutely splendid!

Looking back at some of our weddings in 2021.

This must be one the most beautiful intimate wedding we had planned. We converted this courtyard into a delightful space with the bride's only direction was only white flowers with lots of foliage. We hung two huge floral chandeliers to draw the guests' attention to the space around them and also to take advantage of the high void ceiling
The bride chose simple yet classic custom made Baju Kurong Pahang by Lemari.
The atmosphere for the entire wedding was elegant yet relaxed and intimate.
