Together or separately… it’s up to you!

Wayne and Sarah chose the more traditional approach, so our groom and guests arrived 15 minutes prior to the bride making her grand entry.

This allowed for Mum to snap some photos of her boys bantering before the ceremony.

Getting Married at House of Vows... what you need to know! Firstly, according to the The Marriage Act 1961 and Marriage Regulations 2017, to get married in Australia, you must:
* not be married
* not be marrying a parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, brother or sister
* be at least 18 years old, unless a court has approved a marriage where 1 person is 16-18 years old
* understand what marriage means and freely agree to marry
* use specific words during the ceremony
* give a notice of intended marriage form to an authorised marriage celebrant at least 1 month and no more than 18 months before your wedding
* be married by an authorised marriage celebrant

You don't have to be:
* an Australian citizen
* a permanent resident of Australia

HOUSE OF VOWS (WA) is owned and operated by and your NOIM can be lodged with Amanda when choosing to marry at HOV.

Already have your own celebrant, but want to marry in a registry-style setting... that's ok, HOV offers venue hire by the hour too.

Our boutique registry - style office has seating available for ten of your nearest and dearest.While we'd love to say YES, when you ask if a couple of extra people can come along, the reality is that our venue just isn't big enough to comfortably accommodate extras!

But... we have options!!!

If you love our style, and want Amanda to be your Celebrant, but with a larger number of guests... please have a conversation with us... as we have access to a couple of larger venue just a few minutes from our West Leederville office that we can offer to you, complete with our HOV styling and service.
