The Quarry Amphitheatre is an outdoor performance venue located close to the ocean in Floreat, Western Australia. It was officially opened on 9 November 1986 and is proudly managed by the Town of Cambridge. Low beach/concert chairs are permitted but must be no wider than 52cms.

Happy 'Wear Orange Wednesday' (WOW)! 🎉🧡

Today, during National Volunteer Week, we celebrate the efforts and dedication of our State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers across Australia. These skilled individuals drop everything to help communities during natural disasters and emergencies, and this is the perfect week to say ‘thank you’!

The year 2024 is special as it is the 65th anniversary of the SES in WA!

At our picturesque Quarry Amphitheatre, we hosted a WOW Day event this morning where the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) and SES teams led a vertical rescue demonstration for media outlets.

Don’t forget to look out for WA landmarks, including Optus Stadium and Matagarup Bridge, lighting up in orange tonight in celebration of WOW Day.

Due to extreme catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings 🔥🌡️ and in alignment with the Quarry Amphitheatre Bush Fire Emergency Plan, we must inform our patrons that today's scheduled performance of Metamorphosis: Ballet at the Quarry is cancelled.

Additionally, the Quarry Amphitheatre will be closed to both staff and the public as a safety precaution.🚷🔒

We acknowledge the disruption this may cause and are actively coordinating with WA Ballet to arrange alternative dates. Updates on new contingency dates will be provided by WA Ballet to ticket holders. 📢🗓️
