Sober? Lower your standards.... Sober? aims to make the university experience as fun as possible. And so he became.. SOBERMAN!

is THE biggest social club at UWA campus, running special events and parties throughout the year for university students of all ages . We are a club for anyone interested in having a good time, meeting new people and making strong and meaningful relationships. THE SOBERMAN STORY:
At the ripe age of 4, a

young boy pressured by his parents to succeed, found his talents lay in rapid consumption of his morning milk. This skill translated through puberty and landed the boy at the height of popularity for his prowess at skulling. This caused jealousy among others, one of whom became so envious and enraged at the young boys abilities he slammed the can into our hero's face mid-chug. The can fused into place, permanently causing the prodigy to remain sober for the rest of his life. The jealous coward took to taking drugs to feel confident, but the young boy became a man, and vowed to ensure everyone around him would have their fill.

That’s right — every single ticket has officially been snapped up. This Sunday, 220 of UWA’s finest will be setting sail with us on our biggest boat yet — three decks, two bars, and one unforgettable sunset. 🌅⚓️

Huge shoutout to everyone who scored a ticket — you’re in for an unreal night on the water.

Sober? 2025 AGM — Today, 9th October 🍻

Our Annual General Meeting is happening today from 4–6pm in ENCM: [G06] Harold & Margaret Clough Engineering Lecture Theatre 1.

All financial members are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend as we vote in the new Exec Team and discuss a few changes to the constitution.

Sober? x Relay for Life 2025 🏃‍♂️💜

We wanted to say huge thank you to everyone who donated, ran, cheered, and somehow stayed awake through the night. Your efforts turned good fun into something truly meaningful 💜

Our team clocked in 3rd overall for number of laps ran, running a staggering 1,163 laps, and raised over $3,883 for the Cancer Council - placing 5th in total donations at UWA!

So until next year — rest up, rehydrate, and we’ll see you back on the track!

It wouldn’t be our 2025 exec without the treasurer .t who we forgot to post 3 months ago. He may have sent us the most boring answers known to mankind, but in his defense, accountants peak at tax season. On the bright side, we have been able to test his ability to maximise guild grants and chop pints. Known for his ability to down Guinness while complaining about djs, his skillset isn’t complete without referencing his failed stints in competitive excel.

We are excited to see what he brings to the table this semester when giving us a huge budget for yacht party… stay tuned 🛥️
