The Avant 💡

One of the most practical and stunning pieces of lighting equipment I’ve ever used.

Bi-Color, works on both continuous power AND portable power, easy to change magnetic gels, diffuser & grids (not to mention the beautiful barn doors, and the light stands & softbox that comes with the creator kit is just (chefs kiss)👌🏿

Last night I got use for the first time at a wedding to shoot both stills and video; and it was easily the most important piece of equipment I took with me other than my cameras themselves.
It helped set the mood, easily adjusted the brightness and temperature as needed, and even set the ‘effects’ on to “Flash” when the dance floor started to heat up.

Amongst some other Hobolite gear used, the Avant took the MVP prize last night for sure! 🤙🏾

Moments ✨📷

Recently I was faced with such an incredibly rare and special opportunity where I was was able to document, capture and tell the story of weddings from an entire friendship group; over a period of 2 years. Documenting these intimate moments has been a truly wholesome experience, allowing me to witness and preserve the love and joy shared among close friends as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.

Making some new friends along the way, seeing the familiar faces at each wedding has been such a heart-warming high, and I am beyond grateful that I was able to be a part of something so special.

I am in the process of framing this first frame, having a calligrapher write the names and dates of all the weddings and I will treasure this for years to come.

Tree-mendous 🎄

Recently we set up our eco-friendly Xmas tree in our new place 😊

Fiona and I actually sat back this year and watched the kids decorate the tree themselves; which was a first, and beautiful to witness… 🥹

One of the things on my bucket list since the age of 10 was to see the stunning sites of Karijini and swim in one or more of the gorges.

Only day one of six here but I can say I’ve ticked that off the list…

It’s taken over two decades to get me here but I am SO happy I get to do this by taking my very own family to see an absolute treasure of our wonderful state.

Ignore the watch tan.

But I finally got my hands on the new Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.2 S lens.

This super fast lens has been in demand for such a long time and I can only imagine the many hearts out there that are being filled when Nikon announced this beautiful glass, let alone owning one.

Excited to see what I can do with this and what others create with it.

After weeks of driving around in either Fiona’s car, catching Ubers and cabs to work; I was able to finally pick up the black lion yesterday.

I had planned for a more epic reel to reveal the Catalina Wine Mixer; but I’ll save that for another day!

Recently worked with for a project for their business.
Scouted locations and talent and came away with a super chill and fun day of shooting at (no place like it) with some incredible humans as our talent.

Lots of weight lifting, walks on treadmills, good banter and a drone crash, we came away with a few frames I’d say!

Had such a great time! Thank you all for being part of such a cool project!!

11 Years of Horizon Yoga 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

What better way to celebrate than bringing the very community together that helped shaped Horizon Yoga become where it is today.
With local creatives, and a diverse range of other businesses as well as some of Horizons very closest connections; the night was full of incredible humans both connecting with new people as well as reconnecting with older ones.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Horizon for many years and it all started as my own personal yoga practice started with going to Kat’s (Founder) classes at the Swanbourne Studio watching the sun set as I bend and fold earning my shavasana pose at the end.

It’s been such a pleasure to have witnessed the growth of Horizon and excited to see what lies beyond!

Thank you again for all that you have done for the community and for my own growth.

lululemon Booragoon.


Officially opened its doors over the weekend, and to celebrate lululemon ambassador lead a group of individuals within the community (other lululemon ambassadors included) through a yoga session right outside the store front.

So much always goes into new store openings and the team at Booragoon have worked non-stop to make it all happen! Kudos to & for putting this event together and the rest of the team behind the scenes who supported to make it all work like clockwork!

Goals are designed to be crushed.

To celebrate the opening of a new store in Booragoon; Garden City Shopping Centre…

It was only fitting that the store held a community event run by a newly onboarded ambassador

The great thing about this was that Blair had a couple goals he wanted to smash from the get go…

1. Overcome the nerves of public speaking

2. Teach a large group of over 100+ people.

And on September 25th, he did just that.
Supported by a solid crew from lululemon as well a couple of other ambassadors & and opened by lululemon legacy ambassador it was just pure fire all morning!

A community based event held at .athletex and supported by partner in crime supplying the well needed cup of coffee.

What a solid morning it was to bring the the community together, connect, sweat and celebrate the opening of lululemon Booragoon, this Saturday October 1st.

Blair- could not be more proud of what you’ve already achieved! Excited to see where else your journey takes you!

‘Your Move’

Incredible humans organised to have other incredible humans (men to be specific) come together for some tacos, good chats, sound healing session and a good sweat on the court for some 3v3 🏀.

The “Your Move” campaign for men was to look at movement and mental wellbeing amongst the men in our community.
It was also a great opportunity for local/community-driven individuals to come together to simply hang out and form new friendships and connections.

What a day it was.

Kudos to the team from for putting this together.
