I love people. It trumps everything.

I would be beyond thrilled to be able to capture a part of your life, work and or anything else perhaps. I am a wedding/event/landscape/commercial based photographer in Perth Western Australia with my beautiful partner Fiona and our two cheeky monkeys; Nathaniel (B, 5yo) & Miku (G, 11months). I love hearing about what makes people ‘tick’, why people do what they do for work and for their passion;

what inspires you. It allows me to truly connect with these unique individuals to help with being able to capture the most authentic ‘feel’ in the work that they do. I understand that as humans we thrive on emotion; all kind of emotion. After 8 years of doing this; I’ve grown to understand that my work is fuelled on it. And this ties in with my philosophy that having a stronger connection with all of my clients allows me to create a much better final product/s. Outside of that I’m a very laid back guy that enjoys the simple things in life; chilled days at the beach, extra cheese on my nachos, travel, lacrosse, coffee, food, games, movies & tv shows, a cold beer…the list goes on. So when we meet for a chat, also chat to me about any of those things listed above but share with me what YOU enjoy. 2025 + Lacrosse is going to be a solid combo 🤙🏾🥍

Some pretty epic stuff is happening this season, and the past few weeks I’ve had away has made me dying to get back on the track and get some reps in.

Can’t wait to share more shortly.
I’ve definitely been enjoying my time off, kept up with my fitness, but also hungry to pick up a stick again and take some shots.

Thrilled to have collaborated with and for an immersive photography workshop!

Attendees experienced firsthand the dynamic environment of a live Pilates session, capturing movement and connection.
I guided them through subtle prompts and details I look for typically as well as highlighting the synergy between instructor, client and photographer.

We also had Nikon Australia provide us with a massive array of Nikon Z series gear for everyone to touch & try new set ups whilst learning on the fly.

This workshop not only provided practical insights into my regular work with KX Pilates but also offered a unique opportunity to elevate their photography skills in a real-world setting.

A big thank you to everyone involved for making this experience unforgettable!

The Avant 💡

One of the most practical and stunning pieces of lighting equipment I’ve ever used.

Bi-Color, works on both continuous power AND portable power, easy to change magnetic gels, diffuser & grids (not to mention the beautiful barn doors, and the light stands & softbox that comes with the creator kit is just (chefs kiss)👌🏿

Last night I got use for the first time at a wedding to shoot both stills and video; and it was easily the most important piece of equipment I took with me other than my cameras themselves.
It helped set the mood, easily adjusted the brightness and temperature as needed, and even set the ‘effects’ on to “Flash” when the dance floor started to heat up.

Amongst some other Hobolite gear used, the Avant took the MVP prize last night for sure! 🤙🏾

Moments ✨📷

Recently I was faced with such an incredibly rare and special opportunity where I was was able to document, capture and tell the story of weddings from an entire friendship group; over a period of 2 years. Documenting these intimate moments has been a truly wholesome experience, allowing me to witness and preserve the love and joy shared among close friends as they embark on this new chapter in their lives.

Making some new friends along the way, seeing the familiar faces at each wedding has been such a heart-warming high, and I am beyond grateful that I was able to be a part of something so special.

I am in the process of framing this first frame, having a calligrapher write the names and dates of all the weddings and I will treasure this for years to come.
