Wow, what a year it’s been! 🥰 2024 brought so many beautiful moments, all the love and tears as well, and incredible couples who trusted me to be part of their special day. As The Wordsmith Celebrant & MC, I feel so honoured to have stood beside my gorgeous couples during one of the most magical moments of their lives. 🌟

Please look after your people—Perth gets hot! Even a quick 30-minute ceremony without water or beer or wine or all can be intense. Keep your guests cool and comfortable so they can enjoy every moment of your day!

🔥 Pro Tips for a Summer Wedding:

• Provide water stations or hand out bottled water 💧

• Have some sunscreen and mozzie repellent ready
• Offer shade with some cute umbrellas or fans 🌿

• Consider a cooler ceremony time—early morning weddings are so devine or late afternoon into evening vibes 🌅

• Go and check out where the sun is at the time of your ceremony so everyone stays comfortable 👗👔

I always tell my couples—and sometimes we even have a little practice during the rehearsal—that your wedding day isn’t a stage show. Everything is going to go perfectly, even if you didn’t realise your perfect was falling off your signing chair! (This has happened, and it was perfect because we spent the whole ceremony talking about her clumsiness! 🤪)⁠

We do play around with getting that hand placement just right for a great ring exchange photo—and Andy got the memo reeeeal good! But honestly? It’s all about the love, not the placement. 😉💖⁠
