It’s festive vortex week and summer holidays feels like the perfect time to showcase some of the incredible weddings that haven’t hit the feed yet this year. ☀️

Starting with Kirst + Tomme because their wedding was the literal embodiment of everything on my Insta feed right now; sun, sand, sparkling turquoise island waters and good times shared with special people. ✨💛✨

My last wedding for 2022 was an absolute cracker; a beautiful couple who had been involved in a number of weddings I’ve done in recent years. So many laughs, so much emotion, warm and loving family connections that were a joy to witness and a reminder of everything I want for my own little fam. 💛

It really is such a privilege to stand with a couple and their people as they round the corner into the next phase of life. It makes it so much fun when their crew also show up bright-eyed and open hearted.

Thank you to every couple who has welcomed me into their hearts and homes this year. This December marks seven years I’ve been a celebrant and still the intense satisfaction I feel from contributing meaningfully to a big life ceremony burns bright.

I hope there’s been beauty, learnings and triumph in your year. Cheers to the next! x 🫶🏼✨💕🍾

It’s feels so great to be back into the swing of the season.
Mel & Troy’s wedding had an electric buzz right from the beginning. Sometimes as a celebrant you have to find the vibe and work that up in the guests, sometimes they arrive ready to go.⚡️

IT’S TIME || The winter months have always represented a time for recalibration for me. As a creative working in a heart-driven field, it feels essential to program time off to refill the well from which your art is drawn.

I love taking time away in the colder months to deepen relationships with my family, take in art, read fiction, seek ideas, see live music, make, do, learn other ways of living, all in hope that when we meet for your celebration I can draw on a little more depth and dimension than before. My business is celebrating life; this is literally my homework.

Spring is here and my love tank is full. I’m so ready for the new wedding season and all the beautiful couples I’ve been getting to know in preparation for their weddings. I can’t wait to share their stories with you. 💌

I loved bumping into Candice and her sweet new baby girl at the shops yesterday. 💛

Seeing my couples in the wild is usually a reminder that I still need to download and share pics from their wedding - Candice and Ethan are well past their first anniversary. The baby in my belly in this pic is 18 months old today! 😱

It will surprise no one to learn I am about two years behind with reviewing the glorious couple galleries from our talented WA ‘togs. The overwhelm! Where to start? 😵‍💫
