Sauma Perth is a switched on Indian fusion restaurant on the corner of William and Roe St in Northbridge. The drinks include some innovative cocktails and small plates of yummy Indian cuisine with a fresh tapas-like twist.
Also available include full size curries and other dishes (see board in 3rd pic). I had a chilli mojito and squid and a chicken tikka.

I Love Asian food...the freshness, the flavours, the health benefits. My favourite cuisine for sure. Perth has SO many fantastic Asian restaurants...ah 😍

At the Good Food & Wine Show over the weekend I joined the many happy people enjoying food, wine, gin and whiskey stalls at the Perth Convention Centre. I'm working on the photos, but here are just a few of the many great stalls and things on offer.

Just finished these bottle shots for Paul Nelson Wines for their new BouJu range. There's (in order)

Riesling, Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc.

I love the language they use ...their website says of the third, Sauvignon Blanc - '100% Albany fruit. Unfined and unfiltered. 30% new oak.
Lifted nose with guava, nettle and snow peas. The palate is salty and textural. Flecked with slate and spice and coastal heath.
A seaspray finish that lingers into tomorrow.

That's poetry right there....!

Paul Nelson Wines is a small family owned and operated wine producer producing small batch and quality focused wines. Their 2ha 'Karriview Vineyard' on Scotsdale Rd Denmark are consistently awarded amongst Australia's top Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Wines.🥂

I was lucky to visit a truffle farm back in June of 2021, to walk among the oaks with truffle dogs and the wonderful hosts at Australian Truffle Traders. I was in Manjimup for the festival. It was wonderful to see truffles growing and this time of year right now is when these delicacies are harvested.
