Not to say that B+A day was not perfection. Bea wore wedding dress and and made the venue come to life. But my true favourite part of this day was Bea’s enormous heart and energy, Andrew’s teary eyed looks and cheekyness, mum’s homemade honeycake and lecheflans, man of honour - totally slaying the role… belly laughs, glitter dance boots, random Raygun b-dance reference - butt slaps. Family. Warmth. Home

Let me tell you a story about these shoes.

Kia had been dreaming of this day since she was a little girl. Everything was set up perfectly until the rain gods decided to bless us with a drizzle which we thought was going to stop but well.. it didn’t really. But you see, Kia is the kind of person who has this superpower of somehow making everyone around laugh and chuckle and being able to live in the moment so vicariously it was truly..humbling. Before I knew it she was running through the drizzle without and umbrella, cuddling her dogs and hugging her loved ones whilst downing countless margaritas. I kid you not - I struggled even trying to catch up to her running(the girl can run). There was no knowing if this rain was going to stop so she went.. ‘F**k it! Life is to short to waste time - let’s just embrace it’. And off they both went with literal zoomies down the dirt road. To a stranger these photos are not perfect, but to me - there is nothing more perfect than being yourself being surrounded by your loved ones. Nothing more perfect that being able to truly feel and be present in the moment. Nothing more perfect that loving life’s ups and downs with the people who mean the most to you. I don’t see chaos here but authenticity, humility, confidence and story to tell your future generations. Now they can truly say “we danced in the rain on our wedding day and a double rainbow said hello to us. There is no one else I’d rather do it with” 💕

Thank you for being so unapologetically you. It is truly - an inspiration to watch
