ARCA Winter Challenge 2024 update
What an awesome event... big ups to the Brookleigh girls despite the fickle weather gods and the pesky wildlife ... It really was great to see so many club colours flying around.

Discombobulated - Yes there are a lot of galleries and we have tried to keep all phases together however we know some CC images have ended up in the jumping albums and vice versa...

I blame the bull ants...
Did you know if you accidentally squish just one bull ant ... next minute... eleventy hundred of its cousins show up... to remonstrate. Unfortunately I learnt this harsh life lesson during the 65cm CC phase! OMG I was covered in the dam things ... you may of spied me frantically emptying a can of fly spray on my boots or leaping about bashing my legs off... Discombobulated AND somewhat aghast at the prospect "of an impending breach... INTO the kaiser perfects!!" I had to leg it to the loo... Thank you Jen for covering for me ...I just could not return to the scene of the crime. 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜

I digress, we rotated between phases, all images taken by Jen and myself have uploaded. Gina will start her uploads today. Gina had a complicated day ... she covered the poles in the show jumping arena, then went out to the CC for the 45cm, after the deluge (yes like many of you...she got soaked), she covered dressage til it finished and the SJ 65cm (when I was ... discombobulated🐜🐜🐜) and then finished off with some of the 80cm.

Hills Showjumping Association Event 4 Sunday 16 June
Deep sigh... this is a good news bad news post...
Good news ...the gallery for Event 4 is finished 👍

Bad news... My SD card glitched big time and stopped recording during the 1:00meter rounds 😔 I ran the card through two data recovery programmes. Astoundingly one programme found over 4000 images 🤔(none of which were actually missing) The next programme found 10,000 (mostly un-missing) images😲😵‍💫!! Alas I am sorry to disappoint ...no data was recovered by either programme for a 12 minute period 2:03 to 2:15...

Me and my new SD card hope to catch you next month...

PMHPC Hickstead #1 - Update We had a few technical glitches 🤯 with Jen's album but luckily all sorted now 🤪 Jen's pics of the cross country section of this awesome event have uploaded and the album is live. Gina has been super busy... she covered the dressage and the showjumping and her pics will start uploading in a few days 🙂
