It’s our first international culinary collaboration. We look forward to this Manila Food & Wine Festival MMXXIV.
This will be held at one Of Philippines most prestigious Hotel . Our very Own Chef Oli will be collaborating with Some of Filipino I conic Chef from around the world including some of the renowned Philippines celebrity chef’s. From 🇺🇸 🇦🇪 🇫🇷 🇸🇬 🇦🇺 🇵🇭 in one roof with one mission, to present to you Filipino cuisine in modern approach.

We will also be proudly presenting WA truffle to this event and the lovely .

Looking back to this elegant evening.
Our sophisticated and elegant cuisine paired w/ Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Merlot that surely hits all the right notes. We are very particular with our Burgandy wines and these Chardonnay & Pinot Noir are our WA Favourite.

This intimate dinner would have not been better elsewhere, thank you to our friend .appliances for making showroom a place to experience this collaboration.

Jase Wong –
Hailing from Ipoh, West Malaysia and inspired by his chef grandfather; Jase culinary journey was born from a passion of fine local ingredients.
Jase’s experience transverses a variety of cuisine within the industry including French-inspired fine dining restaurant, five-star hotels to local humble eateries.
In MODU Bar & Kitchen, Jase showcases Asian fusion delights that derives inspiration from generation old family recipes marrying local Western Australian ingredients and contemporary cooking methods.

Originally born in Phillipines, lived and extensively travelled across the globe; Oli has worked with one of the finest chef and venues around the world including 2 Michillen star Le Meurice under Alain Ducasse to 7-star Hotel Burj Al Arab Dubai, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, Four Seasons Hotel Macau.
Oli returned to Australia and landed at Crown Casino Complex Melbourne. Upon his return to Perth he opened Aloft Hotel and Melbourne Hotel as Executive Chef before establishing Olio’s Fine Food in 2019 with a mission to deliver the finest standards in Perth high-end catering business.

MODU Bar & Kitchen & Olio’s Fine Food are thrilled to present a luxurious Truffle dinner experience showcasing both Chef’s talent on a specially curated 4-course themed dinner.
Each menu can further be enhanced with a four-glass drinks pairing, featuring local Western Australia wines & liqueur.
Date: Thursday 20th of July
Cost: $150 per person
+$80 per person for wine pairing

We would like to welcome our new member of Olio’s Family.
Merili is our Operation Sales and Marketing Manager.
She will assist you in your catering journey from start to completion.

Merili was born in Estonia, were hospitality is embedded in her culture. She was part of the opening team of Swissotel in Tallinn. Whilst finding herself emmersed to hospitality her passion to joining Luxury hotels moved her to roles like the Director of Outlets in Fairmont Baku, Azerbaijan.
Her expertise in delivering personal and unparalleled service cemented when working in Whitsundays, showcasing a picturesque sorrounding for weddings and large high end events.

Her dedication to working within luxury hotels and brands provided her with knowledge and exposure in delivering highest level of service standard.

The journey through working In different countries in the world has provided countless highlights in her career which she would always be happy to story tell:
Whether leading the team to cater for F1 grand prix, to ensuring the whole delegate crew of Shiek Mohammed Bin Rashad Al Maktoum in Fairmont Baku or making sure Lady Gaga’s whole entourage experience seemless at the luxury Villa.

We are fortunate to have Merili adding her Knowledge and her relentless approach to delivering impeccable services to our catering operations.

It’s sad moment to all chefs, friends, families and peers who were impacted by your passion and humbleness mate @. I can’t believe it! We were just chatting couple of weeks ago about your plans of residing to Rome with your young family. We would have really love to visit you when in Europe. Just getting to know each other. But thanks to some great tips about business and culinary insights. You are one of very few successful Chefs and great cook who stayed humble. Absolute stand up bloke and great inspiration to many.

Its sad to see you gone too soon but you did Live the best “Last Shot” of your life just like how you said about your book.

Sending our love to your young family specially to Lauren. May God be with you and shall give you comfort through these darkest moment, and strength to sormount this toughest moment.

RIP my friend! You will truly be missed.
