Having worked for Perth bridal studios J & V Wilsons, Edith Wilsons, Casa Della Sposa, Modern Bride and Donna Tobin Couture as well as working with her own clients, making wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, evening gowns and much more. In 2007 Denise decided to concentrate exclusively on just wedding gowns. DWB uses exquisite laces, beautiful silks, luxe satins and sheers, Swarovski crystals and
beads and handmade buttons. A couture dress is created 100 percent from scratch—each custom design is patterned and the finest materials are specifically sourced and cut for each bride with several progress fittings, including a calico mock version. No alteration costs. Gowns are made in Perth, so you have input at each dress fitting. DWB can also provide your veil and accessories and hoop hire if needed. DWB also stocks and sells off the rack wedding gowns. Sample sizes 8 to 26 currently in stock. The DWB studio is located in Connolly, Western Australia. Connolly is situated in the northern suburbs alongside Joondalup. Consults are obligation and cost free, so there is no pressure. Feel free to make contact with any questions, an estimate or to make an obligation free appointment. Visit our website www.denisewright.com.au

It’s nice being open and getting straight back in to the swing of things for 2025! There has been fittings, dress collections and new brides starting their dress journey 🤍
The DWB 40% off sample sale is now on - this means that every sample dress is under $1000 while the sale is on! Dresses are near new to new condition ✨
I need to make room for the 2025 dresses, which will start to arrive soon. This year I am striving to stock more coloured dresses and plus size dresses 🌈
By appointment only, so avoid disappointment and get in touch now 🫶🏻 www.denisewright.com.au

New Year Sale starting soon 😃 January 9th. By appointment.
Head to the website for more details 💗
And just like that, another year comes to an end! 🤍
What is happening in 2025?! I am looking forward to getting back into my own range, which has been on the back burner for the last few years because I have been so incredibly busy! This does mean that I won’t be commissioning custom couture dresses based on designer pictures ✨
The DWB range will be versatile so don’t hesitate to ask if a change can be made, be it the fabric type, the colour or even aspects of the design! 🫶🏻
I have seen many trends come, go and come back again but I feel I must be doing something right to still be going - this has been my one and only job for 40 years! 🥰
I hope many of you will support Australian made and more importantly, support locally made in 2025 🤞🏼
I have started ordering new dresses for 2025. I like bringing in new designs throughout the year and not just in one hit - this keeps things fresh and exciting! 💕
This also means I have to clear out some older stock. Every dress in the clearance category is under $500… yep, under $500! So, if you are on a tight budget, take a look and book an appointment for the new year 🎉
I am so looking forward to what 2025 will bring, including another grandbaby 👶🏼
Anyhow, thank you to all those that chose DWB during 2024 and to those that will become a DWB bride in 2025. Keep safe during the Christmas/New Year period and see you in 2025 🎄
I will be back at DWB HQ from January 8th, 2025.
I will still be reachable to make appointments, during Christmas break, for when I am back 📙
Sharing a snippet from a dress fitting today for one of my DWB custom couture brides! ✨
I am loving all the layering happening on this fluffy, super soft wedding dress. I can’t wait to show the dress in its entirety but, alas, that is still quite a few months away 🤍❤️
Tonight sharing photos of Jasmine.
Jasmine rocked her DWB custom made wedding dress.
Jasmine wanted to sparkle and she did.
Jasmine’s dress was made in glitter tulle. A classic A-line silhouette with a plunge neckline and cut out sides.
To add just a bit more sparkle I also made her veil in the glitter tulle ✨
She looks just beautiful 😍

I am so far behind sharing the photos that my beautiful clients have sent me from their day! I’ve just been so busy! If I have missed posting your photos, please feel free to message me 🫶🏻
Heads up that DWB is closing for the Christmas/New Year break from December 18th 2024 to January 8th 2025 🥂
Tonight I’m sharing photos of the gorgeous Emmalee and her husband Lee. Emmalee’s dress is DWB custom made 💜
I have made many coloured wedding dresses over the decades but I would say that in the last 3 or 4 years, they have become even more popular, whether it’s just a touch or full on colour 🌈
Emmalee’s dress was mainly black with a purple base bodice - such a wow factor dress! With a layer of black glitter tulle in the skirt and sequined black lace on the skirt and bodice for that added sparkle ✨
Emmalee provided her own bridal cape, which was a perfect fit for the dress.
The colours in this wedding are amazing! That bouquet!!
The absolutely stunning photos are by Nathan Sixsmith 📸
From 2025 there will be a small change to the DWB custom made service. Aside from the clients who have already signed up for 2025/2026, I will no longer be making dresses that are inspired from pictures 🤍
I will be getting back into making my own range - variations will be possible ✨
For those who wish to use pictures of dress inspiration, I will be referring to Kayleigh from The Bridal Couturier 🫶🏻
I am looking forward to being able to create again, which will include more dresses with colour and short dresses 🥰

Sound on.. ‘Arry Poppa’ ⚡️
And just like that, the year 2023 is finished for DWB! 🎉
What a year it has been… this little chook has had a very busy year! 😴
Thank you to all the beautiful ladies that became a DWB bride 👰🏽♀️
Thank you to those who took the time to send me photos and leave a review - by the way, it’s never too late for either! 🫶🏻
I am looking forward to meeting many new brides in 2024 and seeing those who have already signed up and can now say ‘I am getting married this year!’ 😍
I am back at the helm from Saturday January 6th, which is already completely booked out! 🤍
If you are planning on visiting the DWB studio and would like a Saturday time slot, my next available appointment is not until February 3rd, so please get in touch soon! 🗓️
Over the break, I’m planning on taking a few days to revamp the studio in preparation for new dresses, as well as spending time with my family - I absolutely adore time with my granddaughter 🩷
I will still post any updates here during my break ✨
Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday everyone! 🎄
To finish off a little compilation from the year that was 2023 of just a few DWB brides.

Time for another twirling bride!
This is the ever gorgeous Sharn on the day she collected her DWB custom made tea length wedding dress a few weeks ago ✨
I’m so looking forward to seeing some photos from the wedding day 🤍

Time to Twirl
I just love, love, love this 😍
Amy was married last week and this is her having a twirl in her beautiful tea length wedding dress, the day she collected it 🤍
This dress is from my ‘Off the Rack’ range and it went through quite a transformation. Amy wanted the illusion front V insert plunge raised for a more modest look - not a problem! 😌
She also was hoping to change the three quarter length fitted sleeves to flutter sleeves - yep, sure, I can do 👍🏼
Then the biggest change. This dress was floor length and had a long train. Amy had been dreaming about a tea length dress, and this dress would be perfect as tea length… let’s do this! ✂️
So, chop, chop, chop… there’s no turning back now! Amy was a little nervous when she came to try it on after I had removed the train and length but I told her that the dress was gorgeous. When she tried it on, she was over the moon 🥰
I am so looking forward to seeing photos from the day ✨
Sparkle Time
If you want to sparkle then DWB has got you covered ✨
I put a lot of love (as well as time) into each DWB custom couture wedding dress. Brides need to put a lot of trust in you when making a bespoke dress.
This is just a sneak peak of the next DWB bride to walk down the aisle, next week! 🤍
Please keep in mind a few things with a custom couture wedding dress… I only take a limited number of clients each year, and I already have several bookings for 2024 🗓️
I don’t do exact replicas of any dress - this isn’t possible because of copyright laws and because I don’t own the patterns. Additionally, many laces are exclusives to designers ✌🏼
My bespoke dresses start at $1100. I only use quality fabrics and, on average, I spend 50+ hours on each dress. That doesn’t include the consults, fittings and communication time 😮💨
I do what I do because I love doing it 💕
Get in touch if you are considering this option 🥰
It’s twirl time!
This is a video of the gorgeous Eleanor when she picked up her tea length wedding dress. The special day was a couple of weeks ago 💕
I do love tea length so if you are looking for this style, either ready made or custom couture, come and see me ✨
