GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, I’m Branka, the Founder and Principal Stylist of Blonde and Blue.

I’m 36, turning 37 in April, and I wanted to take a moment to (re)introduce myself to all of you—whether you’ve been here from the start or are new to following along!

I was born in Croatia, lived in two other countries, and moved to Australia when I was 9 years old. Those experiences shaped so much of who I am and instilled in me a love for creating a life filled with purpose and beauty.

Before creating Blonde and Blue, I spent over a decade in the accounting and finance industry. While I was proud of that chapter of my life, my passion for interior styling and design pulled me in a new direction. What started as a creative dream turned into Blonde and Blue—a business that lets me create meaningful, unforgettable moments for others.

At 19, I bought my first property, and that’s where my love for real estate and design began. Since then, I’ve owned four more properties, each one reflecting my drive to build something lasting, not just for myself, but for my family.

My family is my everything. My 5.5-year-old daughter is my greatest “why.” She inspires me every single day to work hard, dream big, and build something she’ll one day be proud of. My husband and family are my rock—they’ve been my biggest supporters through every step of this journey, and I couldn’t do it without them.

I’m so excited for all that 2025 has to bring—the opportunities, the creativity, and the incredible moments I’ll get to help others create. Thank you for being here and for supporting me as I do what I love. Here’s to a year full of love and inspiration!

🎥 VIDEOGRAPHER vs CONTENT CREATOR 🎥

Let’s talk about the difference between these two incredible professionals! They’re not the same, and that’s absolutely okay—each serves a unique purpose depending on what you’re looking for.

A videographer creates a cinematic, storytelling experience. They capture all the big moments & the little details, weaving them into a beautifully edited film that often includes professional audio from your vows, speeches, & other key parts of the day. This is perfect if you want a timeless keepsake that lets you relive those emotional moments for years to come.

A content creator, on the other hand, focuses on creating quick, social-media-ready highlights. Typically using an iPhone or similar device, they capture short, fun clips that give an exciting behind-the-scenes feel to your day. This option doesn’t include audio from vows or speeches, but it’s a fantastic & more cost-effective way to document your day in a way that’s ready to share with friends and family.

So, which one is better? Neither! They simply offer different experiences. If having a polished, cinematic film with audio of your vows and speeches is important to you, a videographer is the way to go. But if you’re after a more budget-friendly option & love the idea of fun, sharable clips without the extras, a content creator might be the perfect fit. xoxo B

A huge congratulations to everyone who got engaged over the Christmas and New Year period—we’re so excited for you! 💍✨

As expected, this time of year has our inbox bursting at the seams with new enquiries, and we’re thrilled to have responded to every single one of you.

This season wraps up at the end of February 2025 (intentionally) as we focus on a personal project kicking off in March 2025.

Next season officially starts in July 2025 and runs through to the end of March 2026.
