"We chose Eddie as our celebrant because we wanted a celebrant that would fit our personality. My (now) husband and I are very funny. It helps the fact that I am Brazilian and my husband is Australian.
My husband was looking for "the best" celebrant and we found Eddie.
On our first meeting, we were A MILLION percent sure that we needed Eddie as our celebrant.
As weddings are not cheap,... I needed to pay a certain amount every fortnight. Eddie accommodated that need for me and I spent weeks paying him before the wedding. Thank you so much.
My husband was so nervous but Eddie made the celebration so funny and romantic at the same time.

Aside the mathematical impossibility of the million percent part, I agree with most of Bruna's statements 😊
It's not easy being Brazilian, but Bruna does it so well she needed a Brazilian Celebrant to match her energy. Adam knows this really well and I think that with the proper training he will be a wonderful Brazilian one day as well. 😛
This is one of the main reasons I love my job - when the coolest people look at me and still think it's a good idea to give me a microphone at their wedding day. As long as there are cool, weird, nerdy people out there, I'll be here to hitch them ❤️

To be honest, the thing that made me prouder about this one is the mathematical impossibility of being a 200 out of 100 points. Like, it is impossible - I know it, you know it and they definitely know it too... and yet, here we are.
Eddie, the only Celebrant worth of 200 points out of the 100 available. I will probably print this on a shirt and wear it until I die.

Kiera from .things.events put together the Avengers of the Wedding industry to create an absolutely AMAZING day for Siobhan & Filipe - even I got to be there with those legends.
, , and yours truly ditched anything and everything white and brought the best dark and moody vibes our black hearts 🖤 could summon.
Kat captured it like the mystic she is while I got to dist off the old top hat 🎩 and cast some spells towards the unknowing guests.
A match made in the darkness, I tell you.

Photodump of my Eurotrip 2024.
Right after my 300th wedding (see previous post), I embarked on the craziest and most amazing experience of my life. My love took me by the hand and showed me the places she loved and a few more we got to discover together. It was cold, expensive and completely awesome.
London, Paris & Amsterdam treated us like royalty and we got to meet friends, eat amazing food and see with our eyes places and things that lived in our minds for decades.
This doesn’t have a lot to do with weddings, I know. But it has given me more stories and this is the kind of thing that makes me a better storyteller.
Europe, you did good. See you soon, I hope 😊

⚠️3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣⚠️
Soon I will write a bit more about the very intense past few weeks, but I just wanted to correct an injustice and leave this milestone eternalised here: Bek & Josh were my 300th wedding!!
It was on the eve of my first ever Eurotrip, but the excitement started way before that. The day was fun, filled with joy, love, personal jokes, comfy shoes and dance.
I think I am good with words, even in my second language (as stated very clearly by my dear friend and former english teacher ), but I can’t properly convey how proud I am of this achievement. 300 couples who looked at what I am and thought it was a good idea to teust me with a mic at their most special day.
Bek & Josh share one of the most special stories I’ve ever had the privilege of telling and it is an incredible feeling to see their smiles and think that, in a small way, I have a part in this.
Thank you to Beau and the team at who captured this happiness and helped creating one of the most special weddings I’ve ever took part in, and to Amy at for keeping and maintaining one of my favourite venues in the world. It means a lot to me that I got to celebrate this moment with sich special people.
The road to 300 wasn’t easy. I made friends and mistakes in the past 7 years and every single one of them taught me to be the man I am today.

Thank you to the and for being the best groups I could ever be a part of. Without the help and support of my fellow celebrants, I could never have created the life I live and love and they all have played (and continue to play) a huge role in this journey.
300 weddings. What a ride.
I can only hope that the next 300 are as wonderful as the first ones. Only 299 to go.
