Sadly, the caterpillars got the best of our winter flowers and the freshly growing spring flowers... Growing flowers based on organic principles is a learning experience, and although we have learnt the hard way this year, we are making lemonade out of the lemons... Whilst we have no flowers to sell at the moment, we are making improvements to the patches and nurturing seedlings. Watch this space. We will have some blooms soon!
Another aspect of our lives that takes great determination, dedication, and resiliance is our middle son's running activities. Although my husband and I spend a great deal of time facilitating his experience, our son puts in the major effort. Training, looking after his nutrition, sleeping properly, maintaining his school work and casual job around his huge commitment to training and competing, and dealing with the highs and lows of good and bad running days. This carnival is in Brisbane and I am so happy it stopped raining!! We are so grateful to everyone that contributes to his achievements and feel so lucky that he has this opportunity.
