Our little old shed has a new look, with big thanks to the team at JSG Constructions Pty Ltd
Josh and his team worked hard to get this project finished just in time for our 2022 weddings, and we are so stoked with how it all came together!
The aim was to preserve the original features of the shed, which was originally built to house machinery during the property’s century long history as a dairy farm, yet offer a more versatile, comfortable space for weddings, functions and events. The floor to ceiling glass thanks to G.James Glass & Aluminium brings in the outside views of the rolling High Country, framed by the magnificent Moreton Bay fig trees. The timber for the bar has a story of it’s own, salvaged from old shearing shed floorboards on our property in North Queensland by a beloved family member 20 years ago, which in a turn of events ended up here at Bunnyconnellen amidst our renovations, the exact length and amount needed for the new bar!
We would like to thank all of those who were involved in this project and turned our dream into a reality, and for our incredible supporters who have waited patiently for us to reopen, we are so excited to share it with you!
