Why Greystone?
Simple! We chose Greystone because of the facilities it has to offer and how stunning the venue is.

Favourite part of the day?
Jesse’s favourite part was seeing me walk down the aisle. I would say my favourite part of the day was celebrating our love with all of our closest people.

Unique fact?
Our puppies that walked down the aisle actually surprised Jesse. He had no idea!

How did you both meet?
We met over 10 years ago via mutual friends 🤍

Why Greystone?
Apart from getting engaged in Hunter Valley, Conor is from Greystones in Ireland so when we heard of the venue, it just seemed like fate! Then we met Hayden and toured the property there was no going back. We felt like we were in the safest hands with the most beautiful venue.

Favourite part of the day?
When the band started playing as the meals were being serve, the guests were all dancing away before the dance floor even opened! So special to see all our favourite people in the one room having the best time and celebrating us.

A unique fact?
It was a nice intimate day, roughly 20 family & 20 friends. We planned it all within 6 months - almost a year to the day from when we got engaged (engaged 10th March 2023 and married 14th March 2024).

How did you both meet?
Bumble. My sister set up a profile with my pics / info etc but she was the one doing all the chatting and set us up. Conor only found out about 9 months in! All credit to Deyna!

Why Greystone?
The fact you can have it all in one place from the accomodation, to the pre-ceremony champagne arrival for guests, to the ceremony, to cocktail hour and then into the reception. Not having to leave for photos as well was such an appealing thing to us, allowing us to maximise the time we were actually in the reception. If you are thinking about booking this venue, all we can say is DO IT!!

Favourite memory from your wedding day?
We really couldn’t pick a favourite part because the whole day was just perfect! We both think the hours leading up to the ceremony with our closest friends by our side was a memory that we would cherish forever along with seeing our parents during the ceremony and the emotions they had for the both of us.

Unique part of your day?
We had personalised cocktails for cocktail hour & limoncello shots for the reception entry. Erin (Bride) also changed into a second dress and surprised all the guests.

How did you meet?
We both swiped right on Tinder over 7 years ago! Believe it or not haha.
We spoke with each other every day for months. We instantly clicked even when we were both not looking for anything at the time. Sometimes life just puts you in the right place at the right time and now nearly 7 years on what a beautiful life we have created.

Why Greystone?
Greystone exceeded all our expectations as the perfect venue and was exactly what we were looking for. A stunning location where we could stay onsite and celebrate with our family and bridal party, a beautiful ceremony space (that was also wet weather friendly), helpful and friendly coordinators, as well as great space to party after the formalities. Greystone is truly breathtaking and we had the best day, as did our guests!

Tell us your favourite part of the day?
Without a doubt, the dancefloor was our favorite part of the day! We had an absolute blast dancing the night away, celebrating such a special moment with all of our closest family and friends. The vibes were high!

A unique fact about your wedding?
Alannah’s (the bride) family is Macedonian so we had some traditional Macedonian Dancing. Every single guest from both sides got up to give it a go. It was great to incorporate a cultural element that reflected us both as a couple, and also brought something different for our guests to experience.

How did you both meet?
We met through a mutual friend when we were 21 and hit it off immediately! We started officially dating after 2 weeks of knowing each other, and quickly discovered that we grew up in the same suburb, living only 2 streets away from each other our entire childhood. We played sports at the same park, went to the same swim school and shopped at the same grocery store. It’s like we were meant to be and have always been connected all these years.

Why Greystone?
We fell in love with the venue the first time we walked through it! The ceremony space was stunning and it took away the stress of having a ‘wet weather’ plan, the reception venue offered a clean yet elegant space, easy to customise to fit the vibe of our wedding. The fact that it could fit our bridal party and family on site was an added bonus and made our wedding feel more like an event having it a couple of days.

Tell us your favourite part of the day?
So hard to choose our favourite part but after the ceremony, before we got to meet and greet our guest we went back into the house to have private moment together with a bottle of champagne.

A unique fact about your wedding?
Dean’s (Groom) mother was our florist!

How did you both meet?
We went to the same high school for two years and rekindled after through mutual friends.

Why Greystone?
The overall the style and it’s stunning accommodation for all of our favourite people. We loved the pavillon as our ceremony option as we didn’t have to worry about the weather on lead up or on wedding the day.

Favourite moment on your wedding day?
If I had to pick the two most special parts it would be our vows and all the speeches!

Unique fact?
Probably that I already had my heart set on Greystone Estate well before we got engaged. As soon as we got engaged I locked in the first available open day and the moment we both walked in the front gates, Jordan was also blown away. There was no need to search for another venue as we had found the perfect one!

Where did you both meet?
We both met in high school but didn’t start dating until a year after we graduated year 12.

Taking full advantage of everything Greystone has to offer with their ceremony in the Air Pavillion, cocktail hour by the water, reception in the Function Centre followed by the most incredible 20 minute transformation that left guests in awe as they returned back to the Function Centre to find it transformed into an underground New York jazz bar.
