My wife Uncle's Peter and Donny. Peter passed away recently after a long battle. He was a wonderful man that always welcomed you, enjoyed a good chat and loved a story. I was very fortunate to capture this image of them both during a photo session at La Casa Del Caffe some years ago. Photography is about memories and am blessed to have this memory.

I am throwing back to a time before Covid when I host photography events and workshops. I shot this image of Hanna at the start of an event at Kayell Australia. I had less than an hour to share different lighting setups and explain outcome, using different modifiers. This image was shot using a single light with a gridded softbox on a white background. Yes it is a white background that was manipulated by light. Please contact me if you would like to arrange a photography session and learn more about photography. I love looking back over old images. These were shot during a workshop I hosted in 2015. The model is Emily and hair and makeup was done by Glam it up by Celle. We made a great team back in the day. A conference is not a conference unless you include some team bonding events and the Hunter Valley has plenty to offer. Like this group of corporate managers, why include a pasta class at our italian table or a cheese making class at Classes in the Kitchen with Jenny. I can cover the conference bonding event or shoot team heashoot and group shot. They're not just memories but also advertising images for social and get to know the team campaigns.

There was a time when the vineyards were full of pickers. Since Covid it has become more difficult to find picking teams. This throwback Thursday is dedicated to my local industry. There was a time when I shared my experience and knowledge with photographer of all levels. I even wrote a series of booklets that I would give to particpants that attended my workshops. I am working on a new workshop series to be released later this year and I am looking forward to once again helping other grow in the photography journey.

These are not your average workshops. You will gain knowledge and be involved to the whole process. The best part is the workshop series will be based in the Hunter Valley so will include accommodation, meals and the workshop series. If you are interested in developing your skills and finding the light, leave me a comment below and I look forward to share with you all soon.
