😁We had a bloody AWESOMELY FUN TIME! Courtney & Stefan's wedding without a question goes down as one of my all time favourites. I'm still laughing and smiling from this day. Everything about it was a feel good celebration with happy fun vibes! I love you guys and the relationship you share with each other 💚💚

"Their 12-night camping trip to New Zealand came with more than just a Campervan -it also packed the expectation of a ring, especially thanks to some not-so-subtle pressure from Courtney’s sister {Rhiannon}. Stefan however knew Courtney far too well, knowing that she needs to know everything and that she would definitely want a say in the ring. So, their overseas trip was left for exploring and Stefan perfectly timed going ring shopping back in Australia with Courtney during a 50% sale - staying true to his tight arse nature, which Courtney likes to remind him about saying that whenever he opens his wallet, moths fly out! That aside, they found the perfect ring and later at a more unexpected time, Stefan surprised Courtney at Killarney beach, a place they have continued to imprint the sand with memories of their adventures, especially with their third wheel Ernie".

"Country girl Courtney met city boy Stefan, who then eventually became her concrete cowboy. Initially, the odds of them crossing paths were slim – after all, she grew up in boots, he in dress shoes, and their ideas about life were quite different.

But with their shared open-mindedness, Stefan embraced an exciting new secondment in Warrnambool, while Courtney decided to give Hinge a go! New to Warrnambool and curious about the local flavour, Stefan wanted to use the dating app to see what options were on the menu; in his smoothest move yet, he asked Courtney “so where is a nice place to go out for dinner here?”.

Soon Stefan found himself being thoroughly assessed by Courtney’s dating panel Tom and Nicole, whilst Courtney found herself at Stefan’s niece’s {Evelyn’s} 2nd birthday party where she quickly found out how his entire family were passionate Geelong Cats supporters, fully immersed in their fandom. Importantly thought, their lives so seamlessly started intertwining, whilst they connected over the importance of family and friends, holding the same values around always showing up for them no matter what.

Little did Courtney know that soon, an entire bedroom in her home would become dedicated to Stefan’s Nintendo gaming collection and be renamed, The Shrine. Not only did she have to buy more content insurance, that her plants never needed, but renovations started in order to accommodate the forever growing memorabilia. Whilst Stefan unlocked a new world for Courtney, showing her that there is indeed more to Nintendo than just Mario Kart & Brothers, Courtney introduced Stefan to master chef, better fashion and cleaning! Of course, with this transition to living together, some household rules were set in stone quite quickly, with Courtney making it very, very clear for Stefan to never ever enter the kitchen (except to do the dishes) as this is her shrine".

✨Yes, I come with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm, but as couples say the sparkle is subtle when it needs to be! There is definitely a fine balance between the fun and sentimental. As much as I know how to fully cheer you on into married life, I also know when to step back, be on the sidelines and just blend in with the scenery! There will always be authenticity because I just can't hide my bubbly personality, especially not when it's celebrating such a beautiful moment in your lives.

✍️VOW WRITING TIPS
😘- Write the vows in your love language (use the words you use at home, this will make the sentiment feel more genuine & familiar)

🧑‍🤝‍🧑- Try replacing the word I with you/we - in this way the vows are about your partnership ad a whole

🤞- Vows don't just have to be about promises - you can simply celebrate what you are as a couple, what you have achieved together, what you love about your partner etc. See the vows as simply recognising the beauty and significance of your relationship

📖- Start by making daily notes about your partner and relationship at least 6 months before your ceremony

🤔- Use reflective questions to help create the foundations to writing your vows - for example: why have you chosen to marry your partner? How is life richer/more whole because of your partner? What do you want to continue doing in your marriage together?

Couples often ask if they can send me their vows to read over! OF COURSE, I will always support you. There hasn't ever been a situation where I tell the person they need to change their vows! Instead, I have made suggestions on rewording or adding some more personalised anecdotes and then guiding them through this process.

3,2,1 LETS GO!! Wedding season is here & I'm ready!
💍Last season I did 39 weddings, most whilst having a newborn. I drove 7,500km and spread my energy across Victoria & interstate!

This season, so far I have 34 weddings booked with heaps of incoming enquiries everyday!! It's looking like another super duper busy season, but I'm SO EXCITED!!!!

✍️Choosing witnesses✍️
It can be anyone over the age of 18! They don't need to be in your wedding party, nor do they need to be Australian citizens or related to you! And excitingly, you don't even need to decide who they are before the ceremony. You can make it a surprise and pull names out of a jar or stick a sneaky note under two random chairs! It is always a beautiful and emotional moment when people find out they have been selected as witnesses, so you might as well make a moment out of it 🥰🥰

Given their professions, these two didn't shy away from a little DIY either – they made their own creme brûlée together (in lieu of a cake), which they fired at the reception as well as distilling their own spirits. 👨‍🍳It certainly wasn’t Michael’s culinary skills that captured Jodie’s heart. 🥑Obviously, microwaving an unripe avocado in desperate attempt to make a chicken avo salad, did not go according to Michael’s plan. 💥So, instead of Jodie’s heart exploding, it was the avo that exploded and Jodie’s heart was instead welcomed to a kitchen smelling like burnt rubber 🙈🙉🙊

But now now as a married couple, they will continue enjoying the anticipation of growing older together like NATURALLY ripening avocadoes! 🥑🥑

Aisle Positioning!
During the ceremony, instead of standing up front with Kayla & David, I positioned myself in the aisle. This meant the couple were looking not only in my direction but also directly at their guests. So there were no kinked necks or awkward side glances!! Everyone had the best views and importantly Kayla and David got to soak up their guests reactions during the ceremony.
