Hi Everyone!

I would like to announce the long awaited return of Laserforce Port Kennedy's Junior League! :D

The first week for Term 4 will be on the 14th of October (week 2 of the school term)

Monday Evenings, 4:30pm-6:15pm. Strictly Ages 8-13!

$15/night or $120 for the entire school term.

Each night we'll play a mixture of individual and team games, and a mix of game modes as well! This is the perfect place to hone your laser tag skills, as well as teamwork! :)

Crew Members Needed!

Laserforce PK is looking for some new Senior Crew. You need to be great with people, friendly, approachable, hard working and like Lazer Tag!

You need to be 17.5 years old or older.

You need to be available to work Weekends and some week nights, the hours are best suited to a TAFE or UNI student. You would get somewhere from 5-20 hours per week.

Being a Crew Member means you serve at the counter using the POS System, teach people how to play, run Laser Games, take bookings, lots of cleaning, lots of customer service, answer phones and most of all ensure our Guests have a great time and the center remains clean and tidy at all times.

Due to this fire we have been advised to evacuate and therefore have to close. We have no idea when we will be able to re-open at this stage we will remain closed for all of today and do hope ot re-open tomorrow (Friday 30th) at 10am unless it's unsafe to do so.

🔥 A bushfire ADVICE is in place for people bound by San Sebastian Boulevard, Ennis Avenue, Port Kennedy Drive and Warnbro Sound Avenue in eastern parts of PORT KENNEDY in the CITY OF ROCKINGHAM 🔥

Update time: 05:50 PM, 29 December 2022.

⚠ This warning has been downgraded to an Advice as the fire is now contained and controlled. Nearby residents are advised to stay alert to the situation in case of a wind change overnight.

⚠ There is no threat to lives or homes.

⚠ There is a lot of smoke in the area.

⚠ Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

⚠ The fire started near the intersection of BAKEWELL DR and PAXTON WAY in PORT KENNEDY.

❗ WHAT TO DO: ❗

- Stay alert and monitor your surroundings.
- Watch for signs of a bushfire, especially smoke and flames.
- Close all doors and windows, and turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible.
- Read through your bushfire survival plan.
- If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation gets worse. You can make a plan by visiting My Bushfire Plan.

If driving
- Be extremely careful when driving through the area.
- Turn your headlights on and drive slowly.
- Watch for emergency services personnel and follow their directions.
- If you cannot see clearly, pull over, keep your headlights and hazard lights on, and wait until the smoke clears.
- If you have a respiratory condition and you have been affected by smoke you should contact your local doctor or call Health Direct on 1800 022 222.

Another holidays finished, another school term about to begin… if your kids can’t wait for the next holidays, why not get them to come play laser tag as a weekly sport on Monday afternoon of the school term?

We run a Junior League (for kids aged 9-13) every Monday of school term, 4:15-6:00pm. During the league we play a variety of games designed to help the kids improve in teamwork, team tactics, laser tag skills and social interaction. We run a couple of one-night tournaments too to let the kids show how much they have improved!

If your kid sounds like they would love it, why not come on down today (that’s right, ANZAC day)! If they have never tried it before, we don’t require any upfront payment, but at the end of the night if your kid wants to continue then we can get payment for the night or the term! If they did not, then no payment required.

Pricing is $20 a night, or you can pay for the full season at $120.

We look forward to seeing you there! If you cannot make it tonight, you are more then welcome to start next week as well :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We hope you all had a great Christmas and some good times at New Years Eve celebrations. Let's hope 2022 is a good year and the year we finally see the tail end of the dreaded "RONA".

League Summer 2022 commences this week on Monday 3rd Jan 2022 at Port Kennedy. (Tues 4th at Malaga & Wednesday 5th at Willetton) Finals will be Monday 14th March.

If you aren't able to make the first week and need to be put on a team please let the League Coordinator know by emailing [email protected]

It will still be Mandatory Mask Wearing on Monday Night so masks must be worn. You can remove your mask to eat/drink while seated.

League runs for 12 weeks, normally 10 weeks of Standard League, then 1 week of finals and then the Fun Night / Presentation Night.
You can bring a team of 5, join as an individual or with a mate or two and we can help you find a team.

People who have not played League before get the first four weeks for $22 if you're a Member or $27 if you're a non-member which includes a Membership.

Each team plays 3 games a night. League is great for a little bit of fitness, a lot of socialising and making new friends and some really fun, competitive Laser Tag! Recommended for ages 13+
