Did you know that we are a participant in the TerraCycle program!

We often use between 20 to 1,000 balloons doing ballon décor for our clients, so in 2023 we signed up to this program to help contribute to the environment and our community.
Because of our commitment our clients are more than happy for us to return and collect their unwanted balloons.

What is TerraCycle? TerraCycle is an innovative recycling company that has become a global leader in recycling hard-to-recycle materials.

What are our balloons turned into? Our balloon waste is shipped back to TerraCycle in a box just like the one below. They are then turned into making the rubber mats you find at playgrounds. That’s right, it’s very likely your kids, grandkids or nieces and nephews are playing on rubber matting that is made from many types of rubber including recycled balloons. Who would have thought!

What else do we stand for? Scaramouche has also been a member of PEBA, Pro Environmental Balloon Alliance since 2019. When we provide balloon décor we encourage our clients to “PIN IT AND BIN IT”. We don’t support balloon releases either as a further way to protect our marine life and environment.

Scaramouche is committed to ensuring that we are actively involved in protecting our environment by supporting the move from a linear economy to a circular one and by doing so help keep our community and our planet safe.

Once again another wonderful event organised by Sovereign Hills Port Macquarie. One of our favourite events each year! Jess and Meg, the organisers of the event do such a wonderful job making this free event grow from strength the strength.
Shout out to their facilities Manager Wayne, who ensures that the park is looking at it's best and facilitates the set up on the day. Also to Make a Difference - M.A.D who served yummy coffees and hot chocolates.
Team Scaramouche had a ball doing Easter themed Sand Art and Glitter Tattoos. The star of the show the Easter Bunny, won everyone over with lots of photos and snuggles.

We are very blessed to have Sovereign Hills Port Macquarie doing what they do for our community. There is so much more they do behind the scenes that goes unrecognised but we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating such a wonderful family oriented and fun filled experience for the kids.

Have you got face painting experience OR do you have a creative arty side and would be willing to learn, then we would love to meet you! Work is predominantly on the weekends and school holidays which is perfect for those doing their HSC or currently at University.

A happy outgoing personality and the ability to provide good customer service while dealing with children is necessary. You must own your own car and have a licence for this role as we are a mobile service. Having a WWC number is favourable but you can apply for this upon start. Check out these little ones painting up a storm at Sovereign Place Town Centre on Saturday at Paint and Sip. Our staff loved all their creations. It was a massive success with fully booked sessions and turn out!

*Limited stock daily - once stock of braids and slime runs out we will be offering crazy hair spray and colouring in. Limit of one item per child per day, applies.

Slime workshop and crazy hair spray are not suitable for children aged under 3 years old.
