You ask, we nurture, YAWN is based in Port Macquarie and is a new service created by myself , designed to help women during pregnancy and the early months of life with a newborn. I have always loved kids, especially babies , helping others, cooking, organising and being creative so I thought what better way to bring everything together and YAWN was born.
I come to your home to lend a helping hand with house work, organising , or assisting with bubbie so you can get things done or just have a bit of a rest! With a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, SIDS Safe sleep certified , WWCC , first aid certificate and child protection certificate , and a Mum of 7 kids , I understand how important it is to have support during the first 3 months of babies life and leading up to the birth of your baby too. We also offer home cooked meals , menu planning , nursery planning, and organising events such as gender reveals , baby showers and birth announcements. 🍝🌯🥙Home cooked Meals Package:

At Yawn we understand that time is precious with your baby and a helping hand is always welcomed when it comes to organising food/dinner for you.

We have created some delicious home cooked ready to serve meals , available for 2, 4 or family of 6.

We can also cater for allergies /intolerances , so please let us know when ordering your dietary requirements .

Our meals are cooked fresh to order and are prepared by myself . I hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certification and have a background in cooking .

As part of our service we also offer Weekly/ Fortnightly menu planning to help you with your time. We can order everything online for you and organise delivery 🚚 with Woolworths or Coles giving you more time to do other things.

Meals available include :

Spaghetti 🍝 bolognaise
Lasagne and garlic bread
Rissoles with potato or veggie bake
Curry chicken pasta
Tuna Mornay
Butter chicken with rice 🍚
Apricot chicken with rice 🍚
Beef Enchiladas
Chilli con carne with rice 🍚
San chow bow
Curried sausages
Savoury mince
Shepards pie

Light meals are also available :

Tasty homemade sausage rolls
Samosas with chutney
Cheese and vegimite scrolls

For the sweet tooth or kids lunch boxes:

Chocolate brownies
Carrot cake muffins
Chocolate muffins
Blueberry muffins
Scones with jam and cream
Picklets

We are also open to suggestions so if there is something in particular that you are after , please let us know and we can see what we can create for you.

Helping Hands Packages

Many hands make light work , and at Yawn we want to lend a hand to make your day that little bit easier . You ask, we nurture.

Upon our first consultation we will chat with you about your needs and what you would like to get out of our sessions.

We can come to your home as little or often as you’d like, with only a minimum of 1 hour visits at a time. So if you just need that hour, once a week, or fortnight, to get things done we are happy to help.

We cater for Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills, North Haven , Laurieton, Dunbogon, Lakewood, Kew and Kendall free of travel fees.
Areas outside of these zones we charge $0.50cents per km from our office at Port Macquarie.

Included with our helping hand packages we are able to do the following tasks below depending on your needs:
- Washing up
- Laundry
- Folding Washing
- Vacuuming and general house work
- General tidying
- Preparing / cooking meals
- Preparing school lunches for siblings if required
- Helping school children get ready for school
- Helping with school children’s homework
- Holding / looking after your baby while you get some things done for yourself or house .
- Changing babies nappies if required
- Bathing baby if required
- Rocking / Putting baby to sleep
- Playing with baby
