And that’s a wrap on another incredible season 🥂

As we close the doors for our annual break, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who walked through them this year, whether you came for a long lunch, a quick drink, or just to say ciao.

To our beautiful customers, loyal locals, first-timers, friends and family, your support, love and good energy means the worlds to us.

And to our rockstar team, thank you for bringing your passion, talent, and smiles every single day. This place wouldn’t be what it is without you.

We’re off to rest, reset, and sip a few wines of our own in Europe. See you all in two months, ready to do it all again.

Pesce al cartoccio.

An ancient cooking method that keeps the fish moist and full of flavour.

Here’s our version:
Local caught fish fillet, Coffin Bay vongole, cherry tomatoes, leeks, taggiasca olives, lemon, white wine and saffron olive oil.

Special this weekend until sold out.

Locally sourced seafood every week. Our whole fish is butterflied, oven baked and served with tahini butter sauce, fried capers and olive crumbs.

Due to cyclone Alfred continuying storming over the weekend and cutting our power supply, we decided to keep our doors closed today (Saturday) and Sunday (tomorrow).

We will be back open from Thursday with our usual trading hours.

Due wild weather forecast we decided to keep The Hut door closed for this Thursday and Friday service.
Finger crossed Alfred will track back out to sea and spare the east coast so we can keep hosting you on the weekend.

The Hut ceramic plates are handmade and hand-painted by our talented chef, Sofia Olivari. She drew inspiration from our "Piatti del Buon Ricordo," which have been hanging on our walls since our opening in March 2021.
Sofia then created her first "The Hut" plate as a gift for our 3rd anniversary. ❤️
We hung the plate on the wall, and soon, our customers (you!) started asking why they couldn't have one of these plates at home.
We are excited to announce that our "The Hut" ceramic plates are now available for sale, with very limited availability (fewer than 50 plates) as they are all handmade and painted by Sofia.
Please pop in from Thursday to Sunday (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) to secure yours. Not available online.
