Press statement -

The team at JNJ events wishes to make the following offical statement.

Effective immediately we would like to announce that JNJ events has been sold and bought by a leading full production services company. We wish to announce that The Big Production Group has bought JNJ events.

There will be no changes to the way JNJ events is run and we are excited to announce that Jack Jones has agreed to stay on full time as managing director.

JNJ Events will be a division of The Big Production group. 

There will be some more information coming out in 7 days with regards to other major investments The Big Production Group have executed.

Jack Jones wishes to make the following personal statement. “ I am looking forward to staying involved in the business I started almost 13 years ago. I am excited to see the new opportunities that will now be able to happen because of the other departments of the Big production group.”

Last weekend with our sister company outlook communications we provided lighting and technical support for the whole of nutimuk fringe festival over 17 venues and over 200 shows in 3 days.

Flagship production of the festival.

It was great to be working so close with industry sound composer Russell Goldsmith. He created an amazing backing track which was just highlighted by our lighting design.

The jimmy rees show has taken gold coast and Brisbane.

JNJ Events continued to supply the vision system and operator for this part of the leg. On this leg we managed the whole supply and install process of the projection at each venue. We really enjoyed working with our friends over at CVP Events, Film and TV for the first time under tour conditions. Cvp delivered.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

we are currently on the lookout for a social media extraordinaire, marketing and general assistant. As we are in the early stages of expanding we need someone to be there to help us grow. This role will be 1-2 days a week at the moment growing to 2-3 days a week by the end of the year.

Some of the key roles this person will be looking after

- social media
- marketing
- sponsorships
- tour assistance (booking flights, accommodation)
- general assistance to management

Pay rate will be very competitive especially for the right person. The successful applicant will need to have an ABN.

Last week we worked with our friends over at CVP Events, Film and TV to create a rear project solution for costa hall in Geelong for the ”Meanwhile in Australia” tour with Jimmy Rees. Cvp managed to find a projection solution that only needed 3.5 meters to project a full portrait projection on a 20 foot screen and the final result was breathtaking.

The projection kit was supported by the touring vision op kit that is mainly blackmagic equipment which is supplied by JNJ events.

We can only be able to create world class events with the support of our amazing suppliers.

We love supporting community organisations. This week we supported the 70th gang show production produced by Scouts Victoria.

We supplied 4 of our cold spark mini machines along with a pyro mentor to support the creative team and the scouts in the process of designing and programming this amazing production.

Tickets are still on sale closes this weekend so be quick before all the tickets are sold out.

Last weekend in partnership with outlook communications we supplied a technical director for the Halls gap gatherings 2022 event “The moth trail” we supplied equipment over the 16 sites for the event.

We supplied with outlook communications all the power, lighting, audio and projection support for each site.

It was an amazing privilege to help these small towns reopen after the last two years we have had.

Congratulations to the cast on crew for an amazing season of “sneak preview 2022”

The show has over 300 lighting cues in a 45 minute performance

The rig got bought in just for the show. The space is white classroom with mirrors. So it’s great what a bit of lighting can do.

The rig consisted of -

7 x led profiles
13 x led parcans
