I’ve accepted a full time position at the RFS and start on Monday! ❤️‍🔥

✅ YES, I will still be “open” but with some significant changes. Please see the slides for more info.

❌ NO, I will no longer be offering fresh flower bouquets, doing deliveries or stocking bunches at Plains Pantry or Unique Rustique.

I’m a little sad that I’ve had to make this decision but “them’s the breaks” as an adult. This economy is a tough one to be trying to follow your dreams in! I’m so thankful that I jumped in and gave this a go. I won’t be looking back in years to come and wondering “what if”. It’s been an incredible ride to date and I look forward to a future that most definitely still includes flowers!

🫖 HERE’S THE TEA ☕️

I spent a lovely rainy afternoon pottering about in the studio, creating a dried arrangement for this vintage Griffiths’ Tea tin that simply had to come home with me when I saw it this morning at The Lime Door. 😍

☕️ How gorgeous is this tin!!! They sure don’t make things like they used to. The pressed metal details are delish! The lid reads “Griffiths’ Tea” with a Flannel flower. The front of the tin is a little harder to read but would’ve once read “Oatmeal” Griffith’s Tea Sydney Melbourne Adelaide. The other sides have Australian native wildflowers, Sydney Waratah, Melbourne Pink Heath and Adelaide Sturt’s Desert Pea; the state flowers from the 3 locations Griffiths’ Brothers operated. Griffiths’ Brothers established one of Australia’s first coffee and tea distribution businesses in 1879, is still operating today AND is still an Australian-owned family business! 💚💛

Now I know all this it seems even more fitting that I filled it with naturally dried, Australian grown flowers from growers like .nurserywildflowers 🥰

🧡🩷 MOTHER’S DAY 2024 🩷🧡

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that supported my little business this Mother’s Day! I was utterly overwhelmed with the amount of orders and enquiries!! I thought I was pretty prepared but given that I was sold out before I’d even picked up the flowers, clearly I was not! I couldn’t physically fit any more flowers in the car, so sadly lots of people missed out. I’ve made lots of notes so I can go bigger for next year* so you can all shower your mums with flower love!

A massive thank you to my Mum! Mum kept me company on the trip to Medowie, wrote out cards, did deliveries and fed me. I appreciate everything you do!!

Thanks to my helper Deb! A second set of talented hands and a listening ear, I’m so appreciative!

The stars of the show were of course the flowers. Stunning, fresh chrysanthemums from , beautifully complemented by leucadendrons and foliage from . 👌

And last but not least, a thank you to my boys who helped with cutting string and folding paper and then showered me with love on Mother’s Day. What a lucky Mumma I am!

🩷🩵 TOUCH FOOTBALL GRAND FINAL 🩵🩷

Congratulations to our team for making the C Grade grand final. We put in a great effort on a wet and slippery field but didn’t quite get there. Well played to our opponents, Drought Busters. 👏🌧️🏉 Whilst it seems to get increasingly tricky to even field a team in a small country town with the challenges that farm life, harvest, shift work and young families throw at us; we had a lot of laughs and really felt the strength of community spirit.

🤍 Kaitlyn and Hayden - 27 May 2023 🤍

Today’s lovely, and much welcomed, cool change has me longing for the cooler seasons! So here’s a little throwback to Kaitlyn and Hayden’s Autumn wedding. 🍂

After a cold and foggy start, the day cleared into a glorious sunny day, with the beautiful Tangaratta Vineyard providing the perfect venue. 🍂 🍇🍷 Just check put those golden hour pics! 🤩✨

💐 The combination of proteas and leucadendrons from and flannel flowers, white kangaroo paw, banksias, rice flower, ptilotus obovatus, frilly gum and other foliage from .nurserywildflowers created sophisticated and elegant bouquets, boutonnières and table arrangements. The bouquets were finished with silk ribbon which gives fabric offcuts new life. Gotta love that! ♻️🤍

A massive (belated) congratulations to Mr and Mrs Davy. Thank you for allowing me to share in your big day!

Everything in these bunches is grown locally with all except the dark purple statice coming from 4D Wildflowers, Caroona. 💚 Local businesses supporting local businesses with locally grown products. Amazing!

🧡🩵 Brandi & Rob - 20 May 2023 🩵🧡

Throwing back to this glorious autumn day when Brandi and Rob said “I will” in the stunning grounds of The Pavillion Function Centre & Gardens 🍂🍂🍂With spring weddings in full swing including Brandi’s sister’s wedding this weekend, I thought I better get posting!!

Brandi’s parents have a brilliant garden in Gunnedah and everyone tried their best to have “Brandy” roses ready for the wedding, however Mother Nature had different ideas. I sourced gorgeous Australian Grown Grandiflora roses through Linton Fresh Flowers in similar colours to “Brandy” and I raided the garden at her folks and incorporated in climbing roses, magnolia, olive, marigold, gum picked by nana along with some Chinese lanterns foraged from a tree in their street! Brandi’s bouquet even included some rose hips from her mum and dad’s, who as well as a glorious garden are growing juniper amongst other things at Three Generation Gin! I do love a sentimental touch!! 🧡

I absolutely love how this all came together! Brandi was so chill about everything and a dream to work with. I adore her dress and veil! 😍Thanks for putting your trust in me. It was an absolute pleasure (and an absolute relief that I didn’t fall in the water 🤣)! 🥰
