Officiating Jaz & Riley’s wedding was an extra special honour, with Jaz a personal friend already. Everything about their wedding day was stunning, complimenting the adoring relationship these two lovebirds share.

Riley & Jaz’s love story began over 7 years ago, with both of them in Townsville for a music festival. Like most 18 & 19 year olds, it was a case of first night fever, landing Riley & Jaz at the one and only Mad Cow. Although they knew of each other (small town things!), this was really their first big encounter. An awkward Jaz, some liquid courage from Riley and well, the rest is history!

Since then these two have created a life together that they are both proud of. Uni, extra study, holidays and buying their first home, all the stepping stones towards committing to each other forever. In 2023, while holidaying in Melbourne, Riley planned an intimate proposal over dinner, which was a great big yes from Jaz!

Their wedding day was blessed with perfect CQ winter weather and these two said their forever promises, overlooking the river, with all of their favourite people surrounding them. There were the sweet tunes from from ceremony to sunset, leading into a reception that delivered it all. Heartfelt speeches from the proudest of parents and loved ones, signature cocktails and a dance floor that was full all night long, it was a night full of memories.

With a little help from our online friend, this eccentric love story began all thanks to Taylah’s simple ‘like’ on Kerri’s profile. Once these two met up for their first date; the attraction, chemistry and love was instant!

These lovers have spent the last few years creating the foundations for their happily ever after. With their favourite little people, Cohen & Piper, they have created a home together, made magical memories and built a life they are all so grateful to enjoy as a family.

Surrounded by their adoring family & friends, Kez and Tay celebrated their marriage in the most spectacular of ways, with special touches of their personalities carefully incorporated throughout the day. And because these two are extra spicy, it was only fitting that we signed off the certificates with a Fireball shot (to really get the party started). It was fun, it was vibrant, it was proud and it was oh so full of love!

Thank you again for welcoming me into your community and allowing me to make you officially wifeys for life 🤍

Matt and Shae met over 6 years ago and their relationship has blossomed every day since. These two have created wholesome memories, from traveling, taking a leap into starting their business, to their most treasured of all - welcoming two gorgeous little lads into the world.

With so much love between them, Matt & Shae celebrated their marriage amongst their nearest and dearest on the beautiful Great Keppel Island. The weather was perfect and the party was even better.

These lovers have a lifetime of island adventures, coffee dates and family fun ahead. What an absolute honour & pleasure it was to officiate this love story 🤍

Set upon the shores of the Capricorn Coast, stands an iconic little pub that stands tall in the memories of many Yeppoon folk. And the meeting of Jimmy & Rikki is no exception. While enjoying drinks out with friends at The Strand in early 2010, these two crossed paths, and ta-da… this love story was born.

These two have spent the last 13 years creating the solid foundations of this marriage. Extending their love not only to each other, but also to their 3 gorgeous children. One of the most special moments of their wedding day was knowing their children were celebrating with them.

Lucky enough to call Woodbury home, it was a no brainer for Rikki and Jimmy to choose the always stunning as their venue. Filled with lots of love, happiness and a little bit of rain, it was an honour to be involved in this day.

This journey of unconditional love began as soon as Dylan & Micaela met. In the most extraordinary of first dates, Dylan had no hesitation in offering to pick up Micaela in his van to spend the weekend camping by the beach. And the moments & memories from that weekend are still some of their most cherished.

The most perfect pairing, these two always put each other first. They value spending quality time together whether it’s a walk along the beach, a cute picnic or an adventure date - they still have a lifetime of memories to create.

On a perfect September afternoon they celebrated their marriage. Overlooking the mountains & ocean, with their favourite people surrounding them, these lovebirds vowed their love and then partied the night away.

Every component of the day was absolutely beautiful thanks to the incredible team behind the scenes.

Lee and Megan’s love story began long before their wedding day; it was long before they even fell in love! Through family, school and sports; their lives crossed paths in many ways. It wasn’t until they reconnected many moons after the high school days had ended, that this romance started to bloom.
They have created a beautiful life together, survived renovations and supported each other on many endeavours, so spending the rest of their lives together was an easy choice. Two are incredible humans on their own, but together they bring out the best not only in each other but everyone around them.

Set upon the beautiful grounds of , surrounded with their family and friends, Lee and Megan made this love official.

Rhys and Imogen’s love story began 4 years ago after a brief encounter in Imogen’s new house when the plumber (Rhys) attended to fix the shower leak.
Fast forward a couple of years and they have made plenty of adored memories together, including buying and renovating their first home.
A holiday to Tasmania in early 2022 was the perfect opportunity for Rhys to plan a proposal surprise during a private picnic on Maria Island.
May 2023 their wedding day was finally here! Set amongst the beautiful grounds of and in the company of their favourite people, these two love birds earned their new title as husband and wife. Rhys & Imogen have this incredible zest for life and a special kind of love made for each other!
We had so much fun planning this ceremony and it was my pleasure to do the official hitching.

Nathan and Emily crossed paths all thanks to a mutual friend who was heading out of town and the need for someone to feed their cats for a month. With the role to be shared between Emily & Nathan, Em suggested they exchange numbers in case something went wrong. Spoiler alert, nothing went wrong and 10 years later they got married!

Two amazing individuals on their own and together they radiate pure magic. Their journey together has seen them study hard in their own professions, making moves across the state to pursue their careers and now, they have settled into home on the farm.

The paddock of Fernleigh was transformed into the perfect backdrop for a glamorous country wedding. Nathan and Emily were surrounded by 160 of their most special people and vowed their promises of love to each other, then partied the night away under the stars.

An incredible honour to be involved in their day. With still so many more adventures and memories to be made for these newlyweds, their future together will be so bright.

Jess and David are the most easy going couple; they enjoy the adventure of life together without too much fuss, so their wedding day was no exception. Celebrating with an intimate ceremony at their home in October, supported by their close family and friends, David & Jess officially became husband and wife.

The celebrations were well worth the wait! Their proposal had come after spending 14 years together creating a life they cherish. With Jess none the wiser that their camping holiday to K’gari {Fraser Island} would see David asking for her hand in marriage. After a breathtaking (literally) uphill hike to the lighthouse lookout, David encouraged Jess to admire the view (and catch her breath!) while he got himself to one knee and asked the long awaited question, to be his wife.

These two enjoy the perfect balance of outdoor adventures, easy days around their home or spending time with their loved ones. It was such an honour to be welcomed into their homes and to share a part in celebrating their love story - congratulations Mr & Mrs Wust!

As we turn the final pages on the calendar for the year, it’s an official wrap on my ceremonies for 2022 and what a year it has been!

Whether we had the sand between our toes at Great Keppel Island, admiring the beauty of an amazing CQ Wedding venue or in the privacy of your home - each ceremony has been incredible. From the elopements, intimate gatherings, big parties and everything in between - thank you to each and every one of you for trusting me to tell your love story.

It has been an honour to continue to work alongside some of the best vendors, it really makes every wedding lots of fun! (maybe bias, but I think we have so much talent here in CQ).

To all the couples I’ve hitched this year - enjoy your first Christmas as an officially married couple!

It is always a good time in this job when you get to officiate the marriage of two friends. I’ve known Matt from many moons ago, when we spent our weekends at nightclubs, and I’ve known Amy since Medd finally introduced her to all his mates!

Some 12 years ago, these two lovers met while working a few hundred km’s west at the same mine site together. Once they laid eyes on each other they knew there was a connection there… and well the rest is history. Navigating through the good times and the not so good, Matt & Amy landed themselves right where they belong - together.

Welcoming two beautiful daughters into the world, buying their gorgeous family home and travelling to spend time with their Canadian family are some of their most treasured memories… and it’s just the beginning of their forever together.

A magical late August afternoon at The Haven, with the company of their favourite people - Matt & Amy said their I Do’s. When the sun set the party really started; the drinks were flowing, the live music kicked in and then Matty surprised his beautiful wife (and all the guests) with fireworks.

Jess and Jye went to the same school and even had some mutual friends, but it took a friend request on Facebook before their two worlds collided. It didn’t take long for these two to fall for each other. After a month or so of dating, they were on a night out and Jess began introducing Jye as her boyfriend, and this romance was official!

Over the last 7 years, these two have created incredible memories together and finally, on a perfect September afternoon, they celebrated one of their best days yet. Jess and Jye began their wedding day with an intimate first look, and then with the company of their family & friends, exchanged their vows and promises of love. Set amongst the lush gardens of , they celebrated their new title as husband and wife well into the night.

Jye & Jess were one of the first couples I met in early 2021 and it was so special to get them married some 18 months later. Thank you for trusting in me, opening your hearts and sharing your love story with me 🤍
