This is my interpretation of
Pantone’s Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse
a reflection of warmth, depth, and simplicity. But more than just colors and flowers, this design speaks of new beginnings.

2025 feels different. This year, I’m choosing to focus on MAGAYON. I want it to grow, not just as a business, but as a space where I can express myself freely, touch hearts, and connect with others through stories told in flowers.

This is my promise to you to create beauty that inspires, celebrates, and makes life’s moments unforgettable. It’s not just about selling flowers; it’s about being part of your stories and giving meaning to mine.

📖 🆂🆃🅾🆁🆈 🆃🅸🅼🅴 📖

𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 – Inspired by the tale of the sun’s gift, this floral design radiates with warmth and resilience. Just as Apolaki transformed humble fruits into golden sustenance, each bloom in this arrangement reflects the strength and light bestowed upon a village in need. May these blossoms remind you of the enduring hope that shines through even the hardest times.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗞𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘 ~
In a humble village, where food was scarce and the people’s struggles were many, they prayed to Apolaki, the god of the sun, seeking his guidance to bring life to their barren land. Hearing their plea, Apolaki sent down his daughter, Alitaptap, a gentle spirit of light who glowed like the dawn. She walked among the villagers, seeing their resilience and their need for hope.

Moved, Alitaptap planted a simple tree with green fruits, a promise of nourishment. As the villagers worked tirelessly to care for it, Alitaptap felt their dedication and asked Apolaki to bless the tree. Answering her, Apolaki shone his powerful light upon the fruits, turning them from green to a radiant yellow, the colour of sunlight. These golden bananas became a source of abundance and strength for the villagers, who cherished them as symbols of Apolaki’s warmth and Alitaptap’s kindness.

From then on, the yellow banana became a reminder of divine compassion, resilience, and the life-giving power of the sun. When they held the golden fruits, the villagers believed they held a piece of the sun itself—a blessing that would sustain them through any hardship.

𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 – Inspired by the mystery of Ang Bahay na Lila, this arrangement blends deep violet hues with shadowy accents, capturing the beauty and eeriness of the ghostly mansion where time and reality fade into legend.

In some parts of the Philippines, there’s a lesser-known horror tale about Ang Bahay na Lila, or "The Violet House." The story goes that in a small, quiet town, there was an old mansion painted a deep, striking shade of violet. The house belonged to a wealthy family who was known for their secrecy and strange behaviour. One night, the entire family vanished without a trace, and their home was abandoned, left frozen in time.

Locals began to notice strange happenings around the Violet House. People passing by at night would see faint violet lights glowing from the windows, hear eerie whispers, or feel a sudden chill. Some even claimed to see ghostly figures in violet clothes staring out from the windows, as if waiting for someone to enter.

Braver souls who dared to enter the house reported feeling disoriented, as if the rooms kept shifting or time itself was distorted inside. They would often see the color violet flashing or pulsing, and hear faint footsteps echoing through the empty halls. Legend has it that anyone who spends too long in the Violet House will eventually disappear, just like the original family.

To this day, locals avoid walking past the house at night, especially wearing anything violet, as it's believed that the spirits inside are drawn to the color. The house remains a dark mystery, and no one knows what really happened to the family—or what might be waiting within those violet walls.

𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 – Inspired by the haunting tale of Ang Babae sa Balete Drive, this arrangement captures the beauty of mystery and ghostly elegance, with blooms that tell a story as chilling as the woman in white who wanders the shadows.

The story of Ang Babae sa Balete Drive is a well-known ghost story in the Philippines, passed down through generations. It centers on a mysterious woman in a white dress who haunts Balete Drive, a road in Quezon City surrounded by old balete trees, which are thought to have supernatural connections in Filipino folklore.

People say that this woman was either murdered or died in a car accident on Balete Drive many years ago. Her spirit is believed to be restless, seeking justice or peace. Drivers who pass through the road late at night often share eerie encounters with her. Some say she appears suddenly in the middle of the road, forcing drivers to brake hard or swerve, while others claim to see her quietly sitting in their back seat when they glance in the mirror. She’s usually described as having long black hair, pale skin, and a sad or expressionless face.

The legend warns men, especially taxi drivers, to avoid picking up lone women at night along Balete Drive. Locals say her spirit lingers there, tied to the place where her life ended, and that she appears only to vanish moments later, leaving an unsettling chill. The story of Ang Babae sa Balete Drive has been the inspiration for books, movies, and TV shows, becoming a symbol of mystery, fear, and the supernatural in Filipino culture.

"Lately, I've been trying to elevate my designs,my art, by reading, browsing, and skimming books about flowers, designs, sculptures, and colors.
I've been studying, observing, and following floral designers to gain insight, ideas, and inspiration.
•
Today, I created this arrangement that is out of my comfort zone. I have a bunch of Cosmos flowers that I was planning to use for a bouquet. Then inspiration hit me after reading a random fact about the Thread of Fate. It is said that from one point to another of this thread, we are connected to someone, someone who is meant for us.
•
Then curiosity hit me. Why did they name it Cosmos flowers? Cosmos is another term for the universe, its nature, and its origin. So, I decided... I want to create an arrangement that looks like the beginning of life, a flower sprouting from the ground. Something that represents emerging, blooming, growing, and becoming.
•
Then, after finishing the design, a negative thought squeezed into my mind... "What if people don't like it?" Then a quote popped up on my screen from my motivational app, saying: "Adversity is the universe's gift, guiding you towards the right path."
•
Then it came to me, "We will not be everyone's cup of tea. We live in a world where everyone has the right to say things about you. But never let it defeat you. We will receive more NO's than YES's. But as long as there's a YES, keep moving forward. Share your gift and never be ashamed of it.

Like the Cosmos flower, a gift from the Cosmos. She shared her gift with the world. Now, she represents balance and harmony.

Legend has it that Maria Cacao's domain encompasses not only the physical realm but also the ethereal, with her influence extending over the forests and all living creatures within. In some iterations of her tale, she is revered as a benevolent deity, revered by the indigenous communities who dwell in the mountains. She is venerated as the protector of the forests, nurturing its flora and fauna and ensuring their well-being. To those who honour her and respect the balance of nature, she bestows blessings of fertility, abundance, and harmony.

Maria Sinukuan is a mythical figure in Philippine folklore, particularly among the Kapampangans in the Central Luzon region. She is believed to be the guardian deity of Mount Arayat, an extinct volcano in Pampanga province.

According to legend, Maria Sinukuan is a beautiful and powerful 𝐃𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐀 (fairy) who resides in a hidden cave within Mount Arayat. She is often depicted as a benevolent deity, providing protection and blessings to those who pay her respects and offerings. However, she can also be vengeful towards those who disrespect the mountain or exploit its resources.

Maria Makiling is a popular figure in Filipino folklore, often depicted as a beautiful and benevolent guardian of Mount Makiling. Legend has it that Maria Makiling was once a mortal woman who fell in love with a mortal man. However, their love story ended tragically when her beloved passed away or left her for another woman. Heartbroken, Maria retreated to the mountains, where she became the guardian spirit of Mount Makiling.

In some versions of the legend, Maria Makiling is said to appear to travelers lost in the forest, guiding them to safety and providing them with food and shelter. She is also believed to be responsible for the mountain's fertility, ensuring that the land remains lush and abundant.

Despite her kindness, Maria Makiling is said to be capable of causing mischief or even harm to those who disrespect or harm the mountain and its inhabitants. She is often depicted as a woman of great beauty, with long flowing hair and dressed in white, adorned with flowers and jewels.

The legend of Maria Makiling is not only a tale of love and loss but also serves as a reminder to respect and cherish the natural world.
