✈️ As you know I am taking a little time to relax and recharge over the Easter break, with an extra few days thrown in!

🗓️ I’ll be unavailable until the 23rd April (but will endeavour to answer messages when I can).

🙂 I will be returning refreshed and ready to meet and greet with all new couples and get to work on up and coming ceremonies.

It’s been an incredibly busy time, and now it’s time for a little break!

✈️ Des and I are heading off on a much needed holiday and will be back on the 23rd of April.

“My second wedding of the day (Saturday) was held at the stunning Redcliffe on the Murray in Pinjarra.

💞 Where Lachy and Jackie said their heartfelt ‘I do’s’ surrounded by their loved ones.

💞 It was a beautiful ceremony for such a gorgeous couple at this hidden gem of a venue.

💞 After two and a half years of patiently waiting for the slow wheels of immigration to turn, Martin and Helen’s journey finally reached a joyful milestone — they were able to say “I do.”

💞 Their intimate backyard wedding on Saturday, surrounded by close friends and family, was the first of two weddings for me that day, and what a beautiful way it was to start.

💞 Wishing these two incredible people a lifetime of love and happiness together.

The first of my two weddings last Saturday was a beautiful ceremony for Dino & Albertina at the stunning Marlee Pavilion in Kings Park.

No rain, no wind, just a perfect day for their wedding in front of a large gathering of their friends and family.

Such a beautiful set up by Princess & Pa

For any couples getting married at Baldivis Farm Stay/Country Charm Weddings in the coming weeks/months, please note the detour signs while roadworks are happening!

As Mundijong Road is being realigned over the next few months, we are currently facing a road closure. Detours are in place but I have added a map showing the alternative route starting from The Wake Park on St Albans Rd.

Just updated my Facebook status to ‘Married.’

Facebook: “Would you like to add your anniversary date?”
Me: “No, let’s see if my spouse remembers it first.”

Marriage is just one big game of “Who’s going to change their Facebook profile picture to a couple’s photo first?”

😍 In Western Australia (WA), couples are required to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) with their chosen celebrant at least one month before their wedding day.

🗓️ Once lodged, the NOIM remains valid for 18 months, giving you plenty of time to plan your dream wedding.

🤭 Had to share this, as it relates to me and others I know that have been with their partners for a lifetime lol

I know it sounds weird coming from a Celebrant 🤭, but Des and I agreed many years before I became a Celebrant that marriage was not on the cards for us, and that hasn’t changed. 💞

Saturdays wedding saw me at Don Cuthbertson Reserve for Liza and Gordon, another lovely couple who have waited many years to become husband and wife - nearly 22 years 🥰

It was a beautiful ceremony with their family and friends to witness their big moment finally arrive.

Gordon certainly kept us entertained with many laughs for everyone.

I wish these two beautiful people a long and happy life as husband and wife 💕

💞💞 It was a busy weekend with two beautiful weddings!

💞 The first was on Friday at Country Charm Weddings in Baldivis, where Dave & Dani finally tied the knot after 37 years, three children, and eight grandchildren.

💞 Over the years, they had planned to marry, but life always seemed to have other plans. Now, with their kids grown, they knew it was their time.

💞 On Friday, they made it official, celebrating their love in a truly special way.

💞 I wish them many more happy years together!
