โ๏ธ Mother Nature really kicked up a storm for Michael and Janice on Friday afternoon, so much so that they thankfully decided to move their indoors at #thecruisingyachtclubofwa
๐ It was still a gorgeous ceremony for them surrounded by their closest family and friends.
๐ Michelle & Rory from Ritz Party Hire & Supplies supplied the gorgeous arbor and other decorations to help make Michael & Janiceโs day perfect for them.
๐ It has been a long road - 5 years in fact - between the Immigration Department and COVID, they really have had to overcome so many obstacles but they were determined to be together as husband and wife, and Friday they were finally able to see that dream come true.
๐ I wish them a long and happy life together here in Rockingham.

Sunday 8th September was such a beautiful day, a beautiful day for Megan and Simon to become husband and wife.
It was made even more special because I had met this beautiful couple only last year when I had the honour of helping Megan and her family celebrate the life of her mum
Tracey.
When she messaged me to ask if I would be there celebrant for their wedding, I was overwhelmed to think I would now be a part of such a joyous occasion for them.
And it was a just that, a beautiful, joyous occasion, witnessed by their family and friends as they became husband and wife.

Saturday 27th April was certainly very busy for me with 3 weddings!
The first was for Katrina and Dan at Baldivis Farm Stay/Country Charm Weddings and how beautiful was it.
The only member of their bridal party was their much-loved fur baby Marley. Marley missed her
mumma very much and spent a lot of the ceremony safely tucked under the mummaโs dress!
Such a beautiful, intimate ceremony for two beautiful people at a stunning location.
I wish Katrina, Dan and Marley a life full of love and happiness. ๐

๐ I would just like to take this moment to reflect on the year thatโs been 2023. Itโs been a year of mixed emotions for most people, myself included. I have married some absolutely beautiful couples which brings me so much joy ๐
๐ข Then on the other side of the Celebrant coin, I have had to, along with many families, say farewell to many people. With far to many of them taken way to young and too soon ๐

What a magical day Saturday was as Andrea and Michael held their wedding at the gorgeous Elizabethan
Village in Bedfordale.
They had their children with them as part of their bridal party and they conducted
a gorgeous Sand Ceremony to show the unity of their beautiful, blended family.
There were a few tears, with of course, many laughs, but I get a feeling that Michael and Andrea were oblivious to everything going on around them as they only had eyes for each other throughout their ceremony.
I wish this gorgeous family a long and happy life together, filled with many adventures. ๐

One night in February 33 years ago, a very, young lady by the name of โRebeccaโ was out at a nightclub, dancing away and having fun, when she met two blokes who were mates and had just finished work.
One of those blokes, Des, became her partner, and the other bloke, Pete, became a great mate.
Over the years, Pete and his family have experienced the lowest of lows a few times! But today, they were blessed in having a day of great joy, surrounded by much love. As myself, MY Des, Peteโs gorgeous children, their partners and his grandchildren, along with Peteโs mum and her partner witnessed our friend, their dad and son, marry a beautiful lady by the name of Eliza! A beautiful lady, who has captured his heart.
With their little girl Mary-Grace as their flower girl and with Peteโs granddaughter Holly there to help Mary-Grace, they finally became husband and wife.
Such a memorable day for them and 1 I will personally treasure for always.
I wish Pete, Eliza and their family a long, happy, loving life ๐

On Sunday I had two beautiful weddings.
The first one was at the stunning Wanneroo Botanical Gardens for a very special family.
We had lots of bubbles and a very moving candle lighting in memory of their dads.
The bride and groom also chose to say their vows in private. When it was time, they walked a few paces away from anyone and recited their vows to each other in private. I did tell them it was probably a good idea as there wouldnโt have been a dry eye at the ceremony.
The couple also requested no photos of their faces or their childrenโs to be placed on Facebook but they were more than happy to have a photo like this.
I wish this beautiful family a wonderful future.

๐ค ๐ถ ๐ธ Playing the music at their wedding ceremony was the amazingly talented Ricky Green on his acoustic guitar.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ฆ Glenn and Kathryn had their son Casey stand with them, and he was the one to present his mum and dad with their wedding rings.
๐Such a beautiful wedding in an equally beautiful location.

How beautiful is the setting at The Barn Country Style Wedding Venue in Hopeland with a few of the locals on the property near by to hear Darcy and Gemma say their โI doโsโ? ๐ด
It was a beautiful day for Gemma and Darcy and their guests, some had even flown in from New Zealand for their special day. Their little girl Abigail certainly was a big part of their day. She just wanted to be with mum and dad. Gemma and Darcy also chose to have a sand ceremony to show their family bonding as one.
It was a little special too as when I met with Gemma and Darcy for the first time, we soon realised that Darcy went to school with our sons! A very special day all around.
The girls from Varley Strings were just delightful playing the music for Gemma and Darcyโs ceremony!
