Dried flowers are great for your creative craft projects, including table arrangements, wall hangings, wreaths, present toppers, dream catchers, macrame, cake decorating; the possibilities are endless.

Dried flowers have their longest life if kept indoors and out of direct sunlight, but can last for many years if properly cared for – hence the name, everlasting.

All our flowers are organically grown and naturally dried here in Tasmania at White Barn Farm. We post Australia wide excluding WA.

Our first dahlia of the season. It's hard to capture the true colour of this variety currently known as B4. It's a warm pink with coral undertones fading to palest pink edges.

Centaurea cyanus, commonly known as cornflower or bachelor's button.

At White Barn Farm we grow this in shades of blue, pink and purple.

Harvesting today before the rain starts. The flowers will be dried for future projects so watch this space.

Today was our last waratah harvest for the season. Get in quick as limited bunches available.

We have twins 😍 a chunky boy and little girl. Born into minus temperatures on the coldest night this month.

Pearl won't let them feed so we are milking her and giving them bottles. At 12 hours old they seem okay. They are warm and cosy in the lounge room enjoying the heater.

Hopefully once they are stronger we can encourage mum to let them feed. Meanwhile we will keep milking and bottle feeding every few hours.

How beautiful is the underside of this leaf 😍 Banksia blechnifolia

Right now it's too small to cut from but we are enjoying watching it grow. It's only a shortie at 20-50cm high but it should spread 2-4 metres making an interesting ground cover with spring flowers.

Rainy day jobs. Hanging the leucadendrons to dry and asking the cat to please not shred them 🐈

The weather has been very wet and windy here the past few weeks. This leucadendron snapped two big branches creating an opportunity to dry the flowers.

The cut flowers are now in a water/glycerine solution before I hang them upside down to dry. The short stems will suit a creative project like a wreath or crown. Exciting trying something new.
