The weapons chest is quite sizable at just over 1 meter outside dimension..
Love the depth in the Red Cedar top on the Bling Chest. :)

For when you have too much bling to wear it all the time...
400mm long by 160mm wide by 200mm tall. This one was sold before I got to put it up... I am making more similar... :)

A new Hasp lock for Chests. This is a small version for a Bling chest I am working on. The plate is only an inch wide so it was a bit fiddly but I'm happy with the result. :)

Finished up an "A" frame poster stand for Eastway Vikings today. :) It came up well. Looking forward to seeing it setup with their poster on it at events.

I have access to a limited amount of Kevlar cloth for shield making. Enquiries welcome... I have strived to make my shields strong enough to last and withstand re-enactment combat but this inevitably means they are heavier than historically accurate shields.
The use of a Kevlar layer will allow me to make a few shields that are closer to correct weight without making them more fragile. :)

Here starts the Saga of Treebones Resources.

I am an artisan and reenactor specialising in producing item relevant to the Dark ages (5th to 11th centuries). My carpentry trade is where my interest began,(along with my interest in swordplay) however I produce items from timber, metal, leather, bone, and some textiles. I have been part of the Australian reenactment scene for more than 20 years and attend events regularly. My produce will be available from events I attend and through postal orders. I am currently working on Norse style chests of various sizes and seating options such as stools, bench seats and trestles. I also produce combat ready shields, longbows, eating utensils and bowls, tent frames and furniture such as bed frames. and tables. Enquiries regarding Custom orders are invited.
