1. Start Planning Early
The key to a stress-free wedding is to start planning early. Begin by setting a wedding budget, and get your date and venue locked in. This allows you to secure your favourite vendors and venue without the stress of last-minute bookings. Early planning also gives you more time to focus on the smaller details 🖤

2. Start on your Wedding Day Run Sheet and Floor Plan Early!
Make your wedding planning a bit more seamless, by starting on your wedding day schedule and floor plans. How do you see things flowing? What time and where is your ceremony? Will there be a group photo after... where? Canapés and drinks served post ceremony? Will guests be moved somewhere for these? Who are doing speeches and where would you want to fit these in? When does the dance floor open? 💍

3. Secure those Vendors that are Non Negotiable!
Before you get lost in the massive wedding planning to-do list secure those absolute must-have vendors! 🙌🏻 Whether it's having a wedding planner, the talented photographer you've been stalking on social media, or the florist you are obsessed with - make sure to lock in your non negotiables early. I’m diving into one of the often overlooked but crucial aspects of planning your big day: hiring a professional Master of Ceremonies (MC).

While many couples focus on the venue, decor, and catering, they often underestimate the impact a professional MC can have on the success of their big day!

After many weddings working with some of Sydney’s best MC’s ( & are my absolute faves!) and working with a ‘Friend or Family Member’ who has been chosen by a couple to handle the MC duties, I’ve found that the most seamless and memorable wedding receptions have been working with with professional MC’s - because let’s face it, your ‘Friend’ just wants to party and probably has no idea what they’re doing!

Here's a sneak peak into what actually happens behind the scenes of our Emerald wedding day coordination package... ✨ Each and every one of our clients are provided with their own client portal. This a space dedicated to their wedding where they can upload their vision board, guest list, any files to do with their wedding including vendor agreements and invoices. We conduct a site inspection at the venue and meet with the venue coordinator to discuss the wedding details. We create a risk management plan and put measures in place to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. We spend hours speaking to vendors and scheduling in run sheet meetings to ensure that all the vendors and suppliers know exactly what they're doing and when. We also finalise all floorplans so your vendors know where they are to set up on the day. We create a very detailed timeline from the very first thing in the morning until when the doors close at the end of the night. Your wedding coordinator distributes this timeline to you, your bridal party and all of your vendors! On the day, we are on site for Sarah + Alex's wedding for 16 hours.
