What a beautiful day and what a romantic was Anthony as he got down on bended knee as he put the ring on Eleni's finger during their commitment ceremony. Eleni you have a very special man there! What a lovely couple were Andrew and Tracey that I married on Hamilton Island this week. They arrived from England a week prior to their wedding and they are now on their way back home. I had previously met them earlier in the year and it was such a privilege to be their Celebrant. They both had very special vows to each Andy "I will always do my best to make you smile, always care for you and celebrate with you". Tracey "in a sea of people my eyes will always search for you. Today you have my heart to keep and I will cherish you always". Andy I am so glad Nicholas had an "oops" with the candle. He didn't want you to be the only one! The colours of the flowers were amazing. Safe travels back home and I wish you the best life together will bring you.

This wedding has taken me a while to post! James and Matthew had been waiting so long for their special day as covid played a hand in a few postponements. They finally married at Whitehaven on 26th September on a perfect day. During the ceremony James and Matt drank from a Quaich which is a traditional two handled Scottish drinking cup. It is associated with welcoming, sharing and understanding. James and Matt also read special poems to each other "I like you" and "I will be here". I know there were a few tears during this special ceremony. James and Matt it was an honour to have been your Celebrant. Congratulations and happiness always.

13th August 2022 was the day that John Bacchin made Tracey Allitt the happiest girl in the whole wide world! Look at how radiant Tracey looks. The two of you are perfect for each other. Family members did readings for the couple as their rings were passed around to all guests to hold them and to wish John and Tracey all the best for their marriage and future together. Wow what a wedding and such a gorgeous couple were Andrew McCulkin and Cerys Moon. They were married in the Chapel on Hamilton Island in front of family and friends and ceremony was videod live to friends overseas who were not able to make it. Andrew promised to "forever be the safe place for all of Cerys worries" and Cerys promised "there is not a hurdle we won't jump together or a path Andrew will walk alone". What a great day for Robert and Kerylie at Cape Gloucester last Tuesday. The weather could not have been more perfect and I had the privilege of driving Kerylie to meet up with Rob and her two sons Jacob and Sam who were patiently waiting on the beach. The boys both did a reading as well as holding the rings. After the official signing the boys were able to sign a special Certificate as part of the day. Congratulations Robert and Kerylie Ernst and I hope you don't have any flight delays in getting to USA. It was lovely finally getting to meet you and the boys.

Words cannot describe the love of this blended family! Phil and Kelly were married at Hamilton Island in front of their 5 lovely children and family and friends. The rain held off for them to be married on the beach. During the ceremony they presented the children with identical bangles. After the official signing was completed, the children all signed a special "Family Unity" certificate! This wedding was all about "family". Photos of my couple will be posted later. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Semken! Jessica and Jason were married in front of family and friends on a perfect winters day at Dolphin Heads Resort yesterday. It was little cool with that breeze but I doubt if they noticed that! Being a very private and shy couple they decided that during the evening they would wander down onto the beach and say their private special vows just to each other under the moonlight. How special was that! It was lovely getting to know you in the months prior to your wedding when you came in from Moranbah. All the best Jess and Jason

What a day Mr and Mrs Harrison! You choose Kickstart Saloon at Oakenden to say your "I Do's" and it was also the first wedding that has been held at this location. We were so lucky with the weather as we had a couple of light showers before ceremony. Wayne and Lea I know there will be many, many happy years ahead for you both. What a perfect day for Toby and Terrie at Clairview yesterday.
