The Temple is closed from 4pm Saturday 21st December 2024 and we look forward to RE-OPENING on Saturday 11th January with our first event back being Saturday Sound at 10am.

Mundaring Hill Studios: A Celebration of Creativity and Community

Between October 19th and 27th, we were one of the hosting Galleries as part of Mundaring Hill Studios here at The Sound Temple, stunning location amongst the picturesque jarrah landscape of Sawyers Valley. It was an absolutely incredible week, with over 75 artists across the Perth Hills —including five amazing artists on-site, showcasing their extraordinary array of paintings, ceramics, and jewellery.

The event welcomed over 655 attendees to The Sound Temple, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the artists, explore their talents, and celebrate creativity within this beautiful natural setting.

A heartfelt thank you to all the artists for sharing their incredible work, to The Sound Temple and the whole Temple Team for providing such a soulful space, to everyone who attended, and to the land itself for holding this event so graciously. ❤️🎂💃🙏

An Hour and a Half of Sound Healing, Smoking Ceremony and Vegetarian Supper plus endless cups of warming tea.

The Full Moon is a powerful and significant time when the moon’s energy is at its strongest. Through the power of sound, vibration and frequency we can amplify our personal intentions. You will experience a deep sense of relaxation, peace and nourishment as the sound healing aligns and recalibrates our bodies.
During the time of the Full Moon, an intense energy is present, and we take this opportunity to gather in sacred circle.

Through a shamanic fire ceremony, we are asked to reflect on what parts of ourselves are illuminated during this part of the lunar cycle and we welcome the opportunity to let go of what no longer serves us. This will be followed with a smudging process to cleanse and clear, preparing us ready to receive the benefits of the Sound Session.
You will be taken on a Full Moon Sound Journey in our beautiful custom-built wooden chamber, which has been purposely designed to ensure that you get the maximum benefits from the resonance created during the sound sessions. Our Temple design is certain to bathe every cell in your body in a wonderous sensation of sound. Om Chanting is a group practice that uses the transformational power of OM to activate your self-healing potential.

This circle is about bringing community together, experiencing this change in the vibration within our bodies, serving together for the greater good of all.

“The moment people start to chant together in the OM Chanting Circle, automatically their own vibrations are being transformed into OM. Whoever is inside the circle is showered in this energy and that is what changes the vibration of the body. Even the cells are healing with this vibration. So, wherever you go, your aura vibrates the cosmic sound Om” ‘Paramahamsa Vishwananda’

This immersive and sacred practice will last for one hour and forty five minutes activating the body’s natural healing potential and transforms negative energy into positive energy with lasting benefits.

Our facilitator Tarnyia will guide the practice using a unique combination of seating in star configured concentric circles with the continuous chanting of OM.

Om has the potential to unite everybody, independent of culture or origin, as the divine Om is what connects us all. Om carries this strength and intention for the universe.

We are hosting these sessions with the overall intention to assist all participants to realise that we are all part of something larger, something greater, coming from a place of gratitude and with upmost humility.
