Business and Life Update;
I know I’ve been extremely quiet on socials for quite some time… I’ve had some changes in my life and unfortunately the time has come for me to assess a few things and determine what direction I’m headed in life.
I created this business 5+ years ago after having my second daughter. I had left a busy career in recruitment prior to kids and I really wanted to keep my ‘foot in the door’, so I decided to go back to work part-time when my youngest was 1 yo. I then felt like I needed a creative outlet where I could incorporate something fun into my days (and make a bit of money) around the kids…. and so The Balloon Collection was born!
My business became very popular, very quickly… I’ve loved every single minute of it. It’s been a very successful little side hustle for our family (we even had one of our busiest years in the middle of covid)!
Both my girls are now in school full-time, but I’ve been finding it a juggle trying to fit in my city office job, after school activities, homework, a social life and quality family time etc. My weekends have become even more precious since I don’t see my babes as much in the week, so they’ve become very full of ‘life things’. This now means I am unable to spend my weekends working on and creating balloon magic for all your special occasions.
I feel like this business needs to be handed over to someone who will fall in love with the process like I did. And who will be able to spend the time and energy on it that it deserves. I’ve managed to grow a lovely, successful business, with the most AMAZING clients!! My social following on Insta and FB is very organic and fairly local, so someone in the Rockingham/Mandurah/Pinjarra area would hugely benefit from this.

Although my availability is limited, for now I will be offering DIY installed balloon garlands (no helium). I’ll only be offering what stock I have left (there is ALOT!!). Even thought I’m not offering helium, you’re welcome to check in with me on foil balloons etc I may have in stock as I’ll be selling them at cost price - you can then have them filled at big w/spotlight.
I am accepting orders for pick up Wed-Fri only.

As one chapter closes, another one opens and I look forward to seeing what my new chapter has in store for me…
