What Would You Do If Your Son Was Diagnosed With Terminal Cancer? ❤️
For those of you following young Huxley's story, you'll know we held a fund-raiser last year after his heartbreaking diagnosis. Tragically, Hux grew his angel wings before the fund-raiser could take place. Instead of raising funds for more time together, we raised funds to honour his memory.
Yesterday would have been Huxley's second birthday, and we had the privilege of presenting his family, Brendan and Alicia, with his preserved memorial flowers. 🌻
What's truly remarkable is how Brendan and Alicia have turned their grief into a force for good. In Huxley's honour, they founded the Huxley's Helping Hand Foundation. Last Christmas, they collected 2,500 toys for children at Westmead Children's Hospital, and now they're gearing up for an Easter Raffle to support childhood cancer research.

I am reaching out to you on behalf of a very special cause that is close to our hearts. For Keeps and Uber Hair & Co are hosting fundraising event on July 20th at the Richmond Club to support Huxley and his family during this challenging time.
Huxley is a courageous one-year-old boy who is bravely fighting an aggressive cancer. What started as a normal and joyful childhood took a sudden turn when he was diagnosed with a malignant rhabdoid tumor in his left lung. Despite undergoing intensive treatments, the tumor has continued to grow, posing a serious threat to his young life.
As a community, we have come together to organize an evening of fun, trivia, raffles, and a silent auction to raise funds for Huxley and his family. The event will begin at 6 pm, with an opportunity to enjoy dinner at the Villago restaurant before the activities kick off at 7 pm.

If you have flowers you love that are now collecting dust and exposed to insects, let's chat about restoration!
Preservation works best when flowers are fresh, ideally within 24-48 hours after the occasion. This allows the flowers to still uptake the chemicals needed for preservation. But even if they've dried out, all is not lost!
Restoration brings dried flowers back to life. Like these flowers in the photo, which came to us almost 3 years old. Our process includes:
- Fumigation to eliminate mould and insects
- Colour enhancement to restore original vibrancy
- Flower reshaping to revive their form
- Reconstructing and arranging the flowers beautifully
Restoration is a labour of love, often taking 3-4 hours per flower just for reshaping and colour enhancement. But seeing the transformation is worth every minute! 🥰🤩
