Just got home from work to find two online deliveries - 📦 1 a new mop, 📦 2 seeds! Looks like the house can wait and I’m off to the garden before the sun sets on me! Thank you to on their incredibly speedy delivery and beautiful packaging, can’t wait to grow these beauties.
Back home from holidays to a garden full of flowering Hellebores! I didn’t fence off an area and they were eaten by wildlife but to my surprise they’ve come back with a vengeance.

Freshly picked flowers for this morning. It’s absolute bliss here in the bush this time of year. As much as I love the warmer weather these cooler mornings make me feel calm and introspective. I’m preparing myself for frost, garden prep and a slower pace. What’s the word for people who love living through all four seasons?

I’ve been very quiet on the socials lately but it’s been wonderful to sit back, recharge and have some space mentally to decide what’s next for me. I’ve been loving spending time with my family, friends, surfing and tending to my neglected garden.
I have a couple of weddings, photography gigs and a workshop in the near future so it’s not a goodbye from me.

After some difficult conversations with myself and my family, I have decided it’s time for me to change trajectory. I will continue to service weddings, events & workshops so not all is lost. I’m hoping to have more time to grow flowers and spend quality time with my family.
Thank you all for your continued support and to Jiles & Lak .and.green for leasing me this space and giving me free range of your beautiful building. You are one of the kindest families I have had the privilege of knowing and I’m so excited for you in your new chapter too.

Today I hosted my last workshop of the year and what a class to end the year with. Everyone absolutely killed the brief and made the most beautiful Christmas wreaths! Just wanted to let you all know that I’m taking time off to spend with my kids and family over the school holidays. I’m closing all flower orders online but all other stock will be available online and in store.
I want to take time off to reset my priorities and goals. You have all been so amazingly supportive and I cannot thank you enough. I’m not sure what my creative journey moving forward will look like but I have no doubt it will continue in some capacity. I’m looking forward to a reset and I’ll see you all on the other side. In the mean time, come and buy all the beautiful things created by local artists 💚
Starting to feel like Christmas is right around the corner. I never feel quite prepared despite having the entire year 😅Anyways, I made a quick wreath for home last night and the kids are busting to put the tree up.

Nuff said. @richmond.cherries.and.peonies have hit the studio and I’m in love. I have two out of three kids home sick from school with me but I have filled buckets of freshly cut peonies and left them with the wonderful staff at @parkbeachcafe to sell for me. I’ll be back tomorrow without the kids, with any luck 🤞🤞🤞

Easily one of the more enjoyable parts of my job — creating deep, fields of wonder with dried blooms that can be kept for many, many years 🌸 Oh, and on a side note, schools back baby. The holidays flew past so fast and we had the best time together. All three are officially at school now! Sage starts prep!! I’m not going to cry 😭
